If you are going to critique please list your bitches and what you would like to see done . . . . . we cannot go off the grid and risk alienating Muslims worldwide, you want a real clusterf@@@, that's exactly what this band of barbarians are counting on so cheer on Trump, Cruz, whatever . . . . we want leadership and we got it from the President's message.

Knothead,

Are you directing that at me?  Or at Krauthammer and Matthews?
I'm just the messenger.  lol

What specifically about the speech makes you laugh out loud,  markle?

I thought it was pretty good as speeches go.
But Krauthammer said something that absolutely shocks me if true.  He said "70% of the current bombing missions (sortees) come back to base without dropping any of their bombs".   And that's because the rules of engagement are "not to harm a hair on the head of any civilian".
I'm sure that's the humanitarian way to conduct war,  but since Isil is always amongst the civilian population,  you might as well send those bombers home.

What I don't understand is why the biggest and most sophisticated superpower military in existence,  along with the aid of the rest of the western world,  cannot take out al-Baghdadi.
If I was president,  you can believe me when I promise you that would happen.
And since al-baghdadi is not even a head of state,  that executive order legal barrier doesn't prohibit it.

Well, okay, Neville.   Let's be sure not to alienate any Germans either, while we're at it  Rolling Eyes

Lemme know when you see thousands upon thousands of those peaceful patriotic American Mohammedan boys & girls lining up outside recruiting offices to join the fight. Take a picture for us. Till then ......

Not you personally Bob, I recognize you as the messenger . . . . Krauthammer is a freaking off the grid joke in my mind but that's my opinion. I ask only for others to recognize that the GOP candidates' advocacy for American ground forces invading to repel these savages is the wrong way to go . . . . the fight must be waged by Muslims against Muslims instead of by western military regimes with our support where we can . . . . . an invasion by western powers is the precise action they pray for since it would be costly and counter productive . . . just saying.

Total BS.

We've been bombing the hell out of the oil convoys.

He's not bombing the oil fields themselves, because it would be an environmental catratophe (and probably because Big Oil said, "please don't").

He has stated many times that his policies HAVE diminished and boxed in ISIS.  Then came Paris, hours later.  He repeated and doubled down on his position that HIS policies were working.

Days later, came the tragedy of San Bernardino.

The territory controlled by ISIS has been diminished, their streams of revenue are being reduced, and the people who previously populated the region where they endeavor to have their caliphate are fleeing in droves.

Terrorist attacks like the ones in Paris and San Bernardino are weapons of the weak.

Panic and overreaction are the real dangers, but luckily Joe Cool in the Oval Office is not prone to panic.

Semi-retired President Obama, in his insipid rules of engagement, do not allow pilots to bomb oil convoys due to the possibility that the driver is an innocent civilian.

President Obama will not allow the bombing of the oil fields because of minimal environmental damage. Why would big oil say not to damage those fields? When did we begin buying oil from ISIS?

As for bombing the heck our of anyone, that's foolish. Do your research son. THREE OUT OF EVERY FOUR sorties launched, COME BACK WITH ALL THEIR ARMAMENTS.

Of course not, since semi-retired President Obama foolishly refused to do anything to secure their homelands. Keep in mind, President Obama drew a red line in the sand and demanded the ouster of President Assad. When President Assad crossed the red line and used chemical weapons to kill thousands of his own citizens.

President Obama...tucked his tail between his legs and ran for cover.

Why do you continue to spout dis-proven propaganda ? It was ISIS that let loose the gas that Saudi supplied and then made youtubes bragging about it.....wake up...Assad isn't all that bad...he wants to modernize Syria and even lets Christians live there in peace...and women get educated and drive cars...

To answer your question honestly:  No, never.  Once they're here .... they're here.
