The sad truth is most of the voters in Ohio think like markle and obamasucks.
Once they die off,  things can change.  But probably not before then.

Actually Bob it was the grower's. I read interviews yesterday from some voter's and they were all in their 50's and mid 60's that thought it ought to be legalized but voted no because of the 10 grower's they had chose and monopoly. If they had changed that it probably would have past.

Good news that it was defeated and Tuesday was another great day for Republicans.

I stand corrected.

But I've lived in the South too long to be optimistic about it ever coming here in my lifetime. 
And just because Florida is not really the South,  that doesn't help.
Because it's half rednecks and half geezers.  And as I said,  until the geezers and the rednecks die out,  I would not wager any money on it happening.
And since you and I are both geezers,  by the time those geezers die out, our kind of geezers will have died out too.  And I've never heard of any religion that says pot is found either in heaven or in hell.  So I'm afraid you and I are shit out of luck. 

By the way,  people of Sal's generation will someday be able to get all they want from the Circle K just like cigarettes and beer.   But old Sal keeps on whining about how our generation got all the good stuff and his gets shafted.  Fuck off,  Sal.  Someday the Prohibition will be lifted for your generation.  Me and ppaca had to live our whole goddamn lives through it.
