John Boehner lashed out at "false prophets" in the right's ranks, blaming them for political strategies that "never had a chance" even while taking the government into fiscal crises.....

So your theory is that stalemate and the non passage of bills to govern is the nihilist goal, and that is better than any bill passing which may improve America?

I agree that bad bills have been passed, but under your theory Congress would be stalemated to even correct bad legislation. Consensus and passage of good legislation has very little to do with which party is in control, rather the substance and utility of the bill proposed.

COMMON sense legislation that had POPULAR support would be rather simple to pass. Obamacaid was neither.
