There is no such thing as freedom of expression in their culture. Making fun of someone who lived 1400 years ago is against the law and against their sensibilities. They believe it is morally correct to slaughter innocent people when someone makes fun of a person who lived 1400 years ago.Rogue wrote:
really? This is what they stormed 2 embassies over and killed people over?
It is clear they are savages....and this is actually kind of funny and acurate

It's called brainwashing from birth. We have it here too but not to this extreme. If I make fun of someone who lived 2000 years ago, people will hate and despise me for it but the difference is they won't kill me and I won't have to go to jail.

Bob wrote:I lost my e-cigarette while walking at stoodertown Monday afternoon. I'm gonna get up with the dude at the flea market today to get a replacement.
But yesterday to avoid buying a pack of cigs I started eating from the time I woke up. I started with a half pound steak and two baked potatoes. Then I walked two miles at stoodertown starting at 6:30 hoping to find the e-cig to no avail.
On the way home I stopped at Barnes and bought a tub of chicken salad, a tub of pimento cheese, a package of ham, a package of hot dogs and a loaf of bread and hot dog rolls.
When I got home I immediately ate two pimento cheese sandwiches. And then whe the smoking withdrawals really kicked in an hour later I ate two hot dogs. And then at noon I ate a ham sandwich and followed it with chips and dip. And then before I went to bed I ate some more of all of it.
When I woke up this morning I ate two more chicken salad sandwiches and two weiners with mustard on em.
Holy mother of god I hope that guy calls me soon. He said he was getting a new shipment of e-cigs in the mail this morning and he'll call me when he does and meet me at the flea market booth. The longer it takes the more I'm gonna eat. I've gained about ten pounds since yesterday morning already. But I'm determined not to buy no more cigs cause if I do I'll lose the $40 bet with Eric. So wish me luck.
I give the movie one thumb up for costuming and special effects on a budget.Bob wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4sQPRtS2h7k#t=207s

The thread title says this is the video which made the muslim shit hit the fan. And by that I mean the shit that hit the fan yesterday. Which it is and which it did.othershoe1030 wrote:What's going on here? The thread says this is the video Terry Jones made way back when, not the one these people are upset about today.
Please explain?
Thanks so much for your words of support and encouragment, knothead.knothead wrote:
Bob, I read your post with amusement and empathy and you don't need luck you need resolve and determination which I, too, am in woefully short supply. I have shed about 15 lbs over the past 6 weeks and it was absolutely painless, really! The cigs are another issue but I am reducing that significantly but far from calling myself a quitter as yet. You want luck, well good luck, but the strength is within you I just know it.
You might find a dealer around A & Jackson..Bob wrote:Thanks so much for your words of support and encouragment, knothead.knothead wrote:

I just did a 2.5 mile walk around the outside of Cordova Mall while I'm waiting to meet with the e-cig dealer. I was hoping to leave the mall before Chik-fil-a opened but didn't get away in time.
Hopefully though when I can get the e-cig replacement I can stop thinking about food.

This is the video in question.
I got it from this webpage which says...
The movie is called Mohammed Nabi al-Muslimin, or Mohammed, Prophet of the Muslims. If you’ve never heard of it, that’s because most of the few clips circulating online are dubbed in Arabic. The [below] clip, which is allegedly from the film (update: Kurt Werthmuller, a Coptic specialist at the Hudson Institute, says he’s confirmed the clip’s authenticity) is one of the only in English. That’s also because it’s allegedly produced by Florida Pastor Terry Jones (yes, the asshole who burnt the Koran despite Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates’ pleas) and two Egyptians living in the U.S., according to Egyptian press accounts. The Egyptians are allegedly Coptic, the Christian minority that makes up about a tenth of Egypt.
Obviously, there’s a lot to this story that’s still unclear. What we do know is that some members of Egypt’s sometimes-raucous, often rumor-heavy media have been playing highly offensive clips from the highly offensive film, stressing its U.S. and Coptic connections. In the clip below, controversial TV host Sheikh Khaled Abdallah (known for such statements as “Iran is more dangerous to us than the Jews” and that Tehran had engineered a deadly soccer riot in Port Said) hypes the film as an American-Coptic plot and introduces what he says is its opening scene.
