Limbaugh then deadpanned, “The media’s pulling its hair out trying to figure why in the world would this average, ordinary blend-in-with-the-crowd, never-stop-him-in-a-lineup American teenager, Mohammed Youssuf Abdulazeez, what in the world could have motivated him to shoot five people. Why in the world would something like this happen?”

Tongue firmly in cheek, the talk-radio king then diagnosed the hesitation to state the obvious.

“We have to be very, very careful here, my friends, not to rush to judgment. We have to move slower than the glaciers move to avoid bigotry, to avoid prejudice, to avoid racism and, obviously, to avoid the truth. And that’s what we must avoid at all costs. We must not find the truth. And if anybody does find the truth, they better not say it.”

Those who knew him spoke of him as a nice guy who was a pretty good wrestler, who served in the Navy in Viet Nam, who raised a family, who lived at camp FEMA, and they are confused as to his motives......maybe they will look at his writings on blogs to determine what motivated him.......

ENJOY YOUR BUGS....

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said that the attack at two military facilities seemed to be inspired by ISIS.

“My judgment and my experience is that it was an ISIS-inspired attack,” McCaul said Friday at Florida’s MacDill Air Force Base. “The targets are identical to the targets called by ISIS to attack."

Modernity will win the day.....as somebody wisely posted a few days ago.....young people want certain universal things despite the system they are raised under, and those universal motivations of freedom will win.  Extremism may  always exists, but it will always remain in the shadows....America will NEVER be slightly challenged by religious extremist.....they will lose, and America will prevail.

The ideological engine of Islam produces Jihad to subdue all mankind to Islam....we are fighting an idea which considers democracy just another form of atheism.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama on Friday urged Gulf nations to help calm the chaotic political situation in Libya, saying that outside military action would not be enough to help reduce tensions in the war-ravaged North African country.

After a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi at the White House, Obama said a political solution was needed in the oil-rich Mediterranean state, where two rival governments are fighting for control.

"We're going to have to encourage some of the countries inside of the Gulf who have, I think, influence over the various factions inside of Libya to be more cooperative themselves," Obama told reporters.

"In some cases, you've seen them fan the flames of military conflict, rather than try to reduce them."

Obama noted Islamic State militants, who have taken over large parts of Syria and Iraq, have also been active in Libya. The United States is leading a coalition fighting the group in Iraq and Syria.

"We are consistently looking where terrorist threats might emanate, and Libya, obviously, is an area of great concern," Obama said. He compared the situation to Somalia, where Washington has carried out drone strikes against suspected al Qaeda militants.

"We will not be able to solve the problem with just a few drone strikes or a few military operations," he said, adding that he and Renzi did not discuss the possible sale of U.S. drones to Italy, which some Italian media reports had expected.

The United States, Italy and their allies must combine counterterrorism efforts with a push for a political resolution, Obama said.

"The answer ultimately is to have a government that can control its own borders and work with us. That's going to take some time," he said.

Apologist for Col K can go to hell.....

During the Libyan Civil War, in 2011, a former government official claimed that the Libyan leader had personally ordered the bombing.

He died in a sewer pipe....how appropriate.

Apologist for k? Lol... are the critics of iraq apologists for saddam? You will twist anything to rationalize your beliefs. Obama... at the behest of hillary and samantha powers choose to create that chaos... just as he called for the transition in egypt... and decided to support isis in syria. I've seen you try to credit that to saudis... but obama was the driver. I wonder why he didn't do anything while iran squashed their arab spring ?

No twist needed.   The Libyan regime's overthrow was a foreign policy goal of the United States for thirty years.   This was accomplished without American troops invading a country.  ISIS was a creation of the Israelis and Saudis to keep America in the Middle East as their protector.  It is a failure because now that we have a dialogue with the Iranians, ISIS will be defeated on the ground by Shia fighters.  Israel has their fingerprints all over the Syrian civil war......Obama was still a Senator when their efforts began.   But for the Americans sending replacement tanks by air, in 1973 the Syrian Tank corp would have swept through central Israel after losing most of their tanks in the Sinai.  The nation state of Syria had to be weakened as did the Iraqi nation state if Israel would survive.  They accomplished the goal........sorry President Obama has changed the paradigm in the middle east and after almost seven years of you being wrong on almost every subject concerning the President.....maybe you should shift to Hillary....oh yea.....you have started afresh with wrongness......Hillary broke the law...... Embarassed

You're not even trying to keep up. Obama was supporting the revolutionaries in syria before we even knew the name isis or isil. Now he is supporting "moderate" forces there... al quida. Lol... you can't make this muddled mess up.

Wrong again.  You assume Israel wants a resolution of the conflict.

Your blind defense of our semi-retired President Obama is sad, but understandable given your current situation.

As you well know, ISIS began in Iraq AFTER President Obama, against all his advisors, totally abandoned Iraq.

The blood of those five military men in Chattanooga are on the hands of President Obama and anyone supporting his timid, uninformed policies.

He's not even trying to make a coherent argument anymore. I've never seen this much chaos in the middle east.

Thank you obama.

No the blood is on the hands of the murderer.  Again, pay attention.  Israel comes to our congress to dictate American policy, and you think America has done anything to end the civil war.....nothing.....it is not in Israels national interest to have the war end.  This is elementary, and for some folks who want to discuss the cold soup on the Titanic as it is sinking....one might suggest to refocus on what is relevant.  We invaded Iraq because it was good for the Saudis and the Israelis, and now Mr. Markle wants to create an illusion of stability.....that never was the goal.  Continued discord in Iraq and Syria protects Israel.  Mr. Markle, it has been two days and nothing to back up your ISIS invasion of Israel....nada.

Dirka Dirkas have been around longer than America. We are fighting for our way of life here. The Silent Jihad is now giving way to overt jihad.
