Tesla Powerwall Sales Backlogged Through Mid-2016 Tesla-10

Another article I read said these recent sales brought Tesla $800 million in revenue--Tesla only announced this product about a month ago, too. That article calls the current iteration of  a home power-pack rather primitive; however in 10 years they will be much more advanced and will be 30% cheaper. The article said when that happens, they will become as common as washers and refrigerators in homes, and of comparable cost.

These things have lithium-ion batteries in them. 'Gonna take some monopoly-money and buy me a few shares of really cheap lithium-mining stock tomorrow.

I have modified my RV plans to an elevated tent using a 12 x 16 aluminum strut carport shelter which I will elevate six feet.  The steel was too expensive and I have ordered the carport.  I also bought a power pack which I have made using a two wheel 450 pound wheeled cart which has a huge marine battery, an 800 watt inverter, and I will be purchasing a solar panel and controller.  I am hoping until these become available I can get a couple of years of low level power off grid for the elevated structure, but once these become available people will be able to live off grid with all the comforts of home for pennies compared to what it was ten years ago.

Thanks, Bob, but not that one. The gurus I follow are recommending this one:

I figured 500 shares, plus the $7 online trade will set me back about $57. I have enough $$ in my Scottrade account for that.... I am not a really big raw stock-investor, but I do hold some oil & gas (which is kind of sucking wind now), some biofuels, and some solar stocks. After today I will also have some lithium.
