Russia has its own uranium mines and thousands of nuclear warheads, as well as missiles capable of delivering them to Cantonment and Ft. Walton.

Mining stocks are sold on the exchanges, nationally and internationally.

Who gives a shit if Russia bought American uranium?  You make it sound like a real threat, and it isn't a threat at all.

Sorry War Hero, just change your underwear and you'll feel better.

Too funny.......Stupid is hard to fix. The Canadian company who was not a US company could have taken the Uranium and sold it in Canada to whomever they wanted. So the Russians buy the Canadian company and Pace thinks there is a shortage of raw Uranium in the world market......again too fricking stupid to even be sarcastic......propaganda this stupid means that the desperation factor is off the chart. 1 + 2= 5............I guess in somebody's world it makes sense.

Why does Karl create threads that call his own intelligence and common sense into question?

At least he is turning his hatred away from our current president and focusing it on a front-runner to be the next president.

Not on this issue.

Nah this one has a lot bigger media on it than a blog.  The story was broken by the NYT.
But it's also being reported that the author they sourced the story from is very closely associated with Ted Cruz.   In fact it was revealed on Morning Joe today that the same author is doing an equally hard hitting expose on Jeb Bush for a similar kind of corruption.

It looks to me like it's a true story because no one is really challenging the significant facts of the NYT story.  Only going after the source and trying to discredit it that way.
But the story surfaced because of a presidential election.  That would explain why the same author is going after both Clinton and Jeb Bush.  Since he's aligned with Cruz he would want to hurt both of them.

Printing Peter Schweizer's wild speculations as news and advancing his sordid agenda with no corroboration of his accusations is horrible journalism, and that is being generous.

It's also why a Clinton candidacy makes me uneasy.

The Clintons have fostered an adversarial relationship with the press, and it will come home to roost.

So you think the Clintons are clean on this and the allegations are false?

One thing I'd like to ask pacedog and the other right-wingers.
You and every other right-winger are always telling us The New York Times is just a mouthpiece for democrats and liberals.

So what gives here? Why would a mouthpiece for democrats and liberals be the same one which is running a story which could help sink the presidential election for the democrats?
That has to be kind of odd even to you, aint it?

I think that all we have at this point is speculation regarding scurrilous accusations made by a known ratfucker.

That shouldn't be reported as news.

Bob, that is like asking because you have a friend at Ebay, and somebody bought the Beatles Album Sgt Pepper that you are clean.....it is idiotic......the world Uranium market has ample supply and your relationship with somebody or the Clintons relationship cannot salvage this thread....it is idiotic.....hey I will sell you the album for 100k.

I don't know the political bent of NYT, sorry Bob. It's funny that you can shove it back in their face and they eat crow.

Sorry, seaoat, but any relationship between that weird scenario, and me asking Sal if he believes the allegations are false, just does not compute.
Can you elaborate on that?

Hospital Bob

Hospital Bob

First of all, NOBODY has any friend at eBay. eBay is so bad of a monopoly that it doesn't even have a way to contact it in a dispute. It just does whatever it pleases. Neither it nor any of it's employees has ever made any friends with anyone that I'm aware of.

But let's assume that I do have "a friend" at eBay.
And that someone (you gave us no idea who this is or what he has to do with me) sells a Beatles LP.
And that makes me clean.

I'm sincerely trying to understand this analogy. But I don't even know what the analogy is trying to suggest.

2seaoat

A Canadian Company was sold to a Russian company selling a fungible product where there is ample supply and you do understand the analogy.....ok, but Sgt Pepper album has to be special huh?

No I still don't understand how that ebay thing is an analogy to me simply asking Sal's opinion of whether the Clinton allegations are true.

But no,  most Sgt Pepper LP's aren't worth spit.  There's too many of them for them to have much value.  It was one of the biggest selling LP's in history.
As with most all Beatles records (LP's and singles),  many different variations were made.  Different colors or writing on the labels,  etc etc.  And the scarcer variations have more value than the common ones.   But Beatles records (like Elvis records) are not even what record collectors want anymore.
The values of and demand for most collectibles,  records being a good example,  is very generational in nature.  The younger record collectors who are the ones spending money on collectible records today are not really interested in Beatles or Elvis anymore.  They've moved onto to later stuff they relate to.

2seaoat

So why would somebody risk a quid pro quo on a Sgt Peppers album......it is idiotic, and yes a charitable trust is just as amorphous as Ebay where the people needed to execute a quid pro quo and that is the point. A fungible product, a sale between two foreign nations, and absolutely no causal connection with SOS Clinton wasting her time on a Sgt Pepper album.

You've still lost me. Maybe somebody else comprehends this and can explain it to me.

You have tried and failed for six years to use innuendo that somebody has done something wrong......nothing......the boy who cried wolf was partially responsible for the villagers ignoring him when something did go wrong. All you have done now is shift to Hillary. How about talking about folks you support and what they are going to do for America.....six years and nada....so I guess you have no choice.

Show us where it did not happen. Also, show us where the Clinton Foundation did not profit from donations in exchange for those contracts.

Can't? Right, then just attack someone and divert the thread.

What does Ebay have to do with the Clinton Cabal selling access and influence to state department issues in exchange for huge contributions to the Clinton Foundation and, at the time, Bill collecting speaker fees of half a million dollars for a one hour "speech'?
