From Facebook:
Representative Trey Gowdy, the South Carolina Republican leading the House Select Committee on Benghazi, said this morning that the committee hasn’t taken up Hillary Clinton’s offer to testify because "her delay in disclosing" that she used only a personal e-mail address to conduct business as secretary of state has slowed the committee’s work. He also says that if she doesn’t turn over the private server she used to a third party who can review her claim that about 30,000 now-deleted messages were personal, the House might have to subpoena the server. Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, who also serves on the Benghazi committee, says the committee hasn't taken up Clinton's offer to testify because Republicans want “to put off her testimony as far into the presidential cycle as possible. The whole purpose of this committee is really Secretary Clinton.”
Does this sound familiar? Republicans investigating one thing (Benghazi) expand the investigation to include much else (Hillary’s emails, and more), thereby drawing out the investigation as long as possible so it dominates the news, puts a Clinton on the defensive, affects an election, and crowds out larger issues (like what are Republicans and Democrats proposing to do to reverse widening inequality?) that should be the focus of the next year and a half.

Could this "investigation" be any more transparent?
