(CNN)Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov was shot four times and killed by an unknown assailant in central Moscow on Friday evening, a law enforcement agency told Russian state news agency Itar Tass.

He was deputy prime minister in the late 1990s under President Boris Yeltsin and had been one of current President Vladimir Putin's most vocal critics.

One of Nemtsov's criticisms was over the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi. Nemtsov published a report in 2013 describing the Sochi games as one of the most "outrageous swindles" in recent Russian history. He claimed that up to 60% of the final cost -- or $30 billion -- had been embezzled.

Putin and his corrupt Oligarchy are stealing from the people of Russia and it has always been about the self enrichment of Putin.....simple run of the mill corruption and the Oligarchy utilizing corrupt government to steal.

Fox News is utilizing Propaganda to allow shills to do the same in America.....political killings will most certainly happen in America when alternatives to the party propaganda spewed on Fox develop and the truth about the corruption right here in America becomes clear. The Supreme Court has turned a blind eye to that corruption with the Citizen United decision.

Putin and his kind are cowards............tell the truth and you get killed.

No, he doesn't. The people who are in control here now are the ultra rich corporatists, on both sides. Their goal is to control everything for their exclusive benefit, and you're one of their greatest shills -- much to their chagrin!

Fascism should more importantly be called corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power. Benito Mussolini
