NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. (AP) -- Police arrested a western Pennsylvania bank robbery suspect when he stopped for chicken and biscuits at a restaurant two blocks away.

Online court records don't list an attorney for 32-year-old Shane Lindsey, who was arrested Wednesday about 20 minutes after he allegedly robbed the Citizens Bank in downtown New Kensington.

Police tell the (Tarentum) Valley News Dispatch that witnesses saw a bald man matching Lindsey's description run toward a restaurant after the heist. Police knew the business had surveillance video and went inside to view it hoping for clues as to where the suspect went - only to find Lindsey eating at a booth.

Police say the video showed the suspect run past the restaurant and then pause before coming back and going inside.

That's about as brilliant as the guys that got off work at a factory and robbed a bank in Des Moines a few years ago. They donned their ski masks and didn't change out of their factory supplied jackets, with the name of the factory on each one, as they committed their crime.

Duh!

I heard of a couple guys that robbed a warehouse.  They walked over to a gas station with a coffee can and bought gas and set the warehouse on fire then drove off with the merchandise and stopped for a nap a few miles from the warehouse....they were ID'd by the station attendant and  easily nabbed...better get some rest before you rob a place.

Ok.... a full tummy, a nap, and clothing without your name and logo. What else?

I heard the one where all the directors and officers of the too big to fail banks robbed the banks and the government gave them more money, and subsidizes them to the tune of 85 billion a year.....if you can talk about stupid bank robbers I doubt you can beat stupid law enforcement who gives the robbers a pass.

So now you're saying that Obama's put over half a trillion additional dollars into the pockets of the 1% in the banking industry as a... How did Boards put it? Oh yeah!... structural budget constant since he's taken office. That's nice to know since I can use that in the discussion I'm having with Boards in politics.

Those trillions keep adding up and they keep going to those corporates controlled by the 1% with this administration.

Did the CEO's and major shareholders send Christmas thank you cards to the White House every year after they lined their pockets with bonuses and dividend increases?
