Good post. Journalism has become celebrity news and when Ebola and ISIS become the hot celebrity that is all you hear about. Journalism which understand underlying issues and long term relevant concerns has all but disappeared with the demise of the daily newspaper in America.

Those spikes are the height of irrelevancy.
