Thanks for the chart. It was such a nuanced situation we needed a visual to be able to understand the dynamics. UGH. As someone said recently, saying executive action addressing immigration reform would poison the well is ignoring the fact that the water was not all that sweet to begin with.

What absolute childish drama the R's are going through throwing a fit like a three year old. If they don't like what Obama just came out with all they have to do is pass a bill and it all goes away.

The president hit the nail on the head when he pointed out that this issue is being used to gin up the vote, get the base out and the R's don't want to give that up.

Instead of the chart just show a picture of a microphone with total media coverage.  Insert whomever needs their ego stroked at the moment...dem...repub...Prez...all egoists who are not for the people.

The job of all American media is to produce and package stories that will increase readership, to increase their own advertising revenues. Realistically, the media uses conflict as a primary tool.

As long as we do nothing to destroy the political power of big-money campaign financing, we the people will always get the short end of the stick.
