They are not supposed to enter the country illegally, but they do. They're not supposed to remain in the country illegally, but they do. But I'm sure they don't do anything illegal to obtain benefits to which they are not entitled.

This is what I said. If you read this to be no illegals are getting benefits then I suggest you take a refresher course in reading comp. And certainly take your mentee as she can't even decipher fact from fiction.

You have taken the conversation out of context. The original argument was illegals getting welfare period. When that didn't pan out they took it to them getting it illegally. That statement is correct under the law which was my point. If your going to move it to fraud w/ them then you need to include all those who are defrauding the govt.-not just illegals.
