With the rise of ISIS now the Obama W/H is pitifully trying to spin his JV remark into something else. It's not working. The Washington Post gives their weak effort at lying 4 Pinocchio's. Someone ought to tell them truth is a good thing.

Imagine the ideological nativity required to elect someone that had literally zero executive or foreign relations experience.

What were/are the expectations? The guy really has no clue... and nobody could've reasonably thought he would.

He's been fairly successful in preventing us from getting completely entangled in multiple sectarian conflicts.

America can only be a stabilizing force in the world to a point.

We can't stop people from wanting to kill each other.

Becoming embroiled in all these theaters would decimate our resources with no benefit to us at all.

That resistance to the MIC's favored path has been the President's modus operandi in these affairs.

And, that's also why many of us voted for him over Clinton and McCain.

His reluctance to make any kind of meaningful decision has allowed the ISIS situation to escalate. Warned for almost a year before ISIS got rolling he still has no plan for effectively controlling them.

His current "policy" of limited bombing strikes in Somalia, Syria, and Iraq puts U.S. pilots at extreme risk. If a pilot were to be captured and beheaded what will the response be then?

I think that would be a fair summary if one believed we should be committing our forces across the globe. He campaigned telling America he was going to withdraw from overseas adventures, scale down our military, and use diplomacy. He has mastered the same. The people elected him TWICE to do exactly what he has done. His precision strikes and a shrinking military is exactly what America wants. ISIS is a prop to scare America and force a knee jerk reaction......who is really behind that prop. Mostly Sunni tribesmen trying to get their fair share of the booty from a nation shattered by our policies. The real winner is Israel. Is it not curious why Israel has not been attacked by ISIS? It does not take long to figure out why some have attacked the President to fanatically.......they are going to be losing a paycheck, and America is going to take their country back.

I don't find it curious at all, they have the spine and the means to defend themselves that the others do not.

When fully equipped divisions of soldiers desert in the face of mere hundreds of lightly equipped ISIS murderers something is wrong. Of course now that those same cowards left their equipment ISIS is more and more like an organized Army.
