Mandatory federal grand juries on EVERY police shooting of unarmed citizens

There is a simple solution to Police killing citizens. Create clear statute that the shooting or death of any citizen by a police officer where the citizen is unarmed is a violation of that citizen's civil rights and due process under the 14th amendment to our constitution and that a Federal grand jury will convene within 21 days of the shooting to review the facts and determine if a civil rights indictment will issue.

The shootings would all but disappear within a year of creation of the statute, and alternative means of protecting officers not involving deadly force would be implemented. This is beyond stupid in the year 2014 and with ample cameras on the street that we are allowing these shootings to continue.

Forgetting of course that even an unarmed "civilian" can be lethally dangerous if they gain an advantage.

In 2011 over 700 people were "murdered" without the use of a weapon other than the human hand.

But some people think even more laws will solve this issue. It won't.

The only solution is for people to start obeying current laws.

Progressives will never break that code but they excel at exacerbating hysteria through their race baiting.

Yes! More money spent on more agencies investigating other agencies with task forces that are almost as big as the agency they're investigating.

That makes perfect sense.

Perhaps we should make a mandate for households to have security systems doing a 360 degree surveillance with automatic feeds to all the local law enforcement agencies also.
