Nothing in the news about it since Bergdahl the Traitor was repatriated, so we can all assume that Herr Leader has it all fixed, right? Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz Razz

I want it talked about every day. I want congressional committees which expose each and every mistake. Good government requires the same. It is so damn refreshing to have and an actual problem where instead of silly innuendo and tin foil hats, we have a real problem which can be fixed with bipartisan support. This baby is the President's mess, and I think all criticism is fair if everybody is working to fix the problems.......absolutely refreshing.

It CAN NOT be fixed. It is Big Government running a business. They can write checks efficiently and little else.

This is so true.

I have an idea, why don't they just all go to a civilian hospital?

There are lots of OVERPAID Va employees that would lose their phoney baloney jobs if they went private sector.

So VA doesn't work at all? No one is receiving any type of quality care? It is just one big sham? Is this what you all are saying?

Im sure some get around to working. And there are some people that no matter where you put them they have good work ethic, Im sure some are there. But it is well known that its a easy job for high pay at the VA. that's why everybody wants to work there lol

Can someone answer my question though...

Why don't the people on the waiting list just go to the private hospitals?

What about the rest of the VA? You don't care about your fellow service members? Sounds like you are just like Obama.

You dont understand.  If you are a Vet and can not get into the VA health system, then you have to sit around and die.  It is sad but that is how it works.  VA is responsible for your life..

So your saying that vets are not allowed to go to private hospitals or doctors if they can't get seen at the VA?

Is this what you are saying?

Because if it is then you have just exposed how vets get less care and worse treatment than people on Medicaid and that's really super bad

You are "Allowed" to make your own decisions and be responsible for your own life. Being a Veteran makes no difference. The moment you think some one "Owes" you anything, you are in trouble. I have no idea why someone would sit and die or live in pain waiting on a government agency. I use VA because it works for me. If and when it proves not to be a good source of health care, I will quit it in a flash. Might such a decision bankrupt me? Of course, but I would be alive or in better health. Those with major combat injuries should be the main purpose of the VA. They have no choice. Many of the rest of the people who use/abuse VA have a choice.
