The fact that our most gullible readers and posters here actually believe that 97% of a large group would agree on anything is, in itself, laughable. The only place that is likely to happen are elections in North Korea, Venezuela and a few other of our members favorite countries.

Scientists Cover Up Another Peer-Reviewed Study That Disputes Global Warming Junk Science

Climate science has become ‘too green’ and ‘blind to bias’ scientists have warned after it was claimed a major journal suppressed research which cast doubt on the speed of global warming.

The journal Environmental Research Letters refused to publish an article by Lennart Bengtsson and other academics which flagged up inconsistencies in temperature projections.

Professor Judith Curry, of the Georgia Institute of Technology, said it had the potential to do as much damage to climate science as the ‘climategate’ scandal, where the University of East Anglia was accused of manipulating data and attempting to suppress critics.

In the past year the journal has also been criticised for promoting a paper which suggested that 97 per cent of climate change studies supported the hypotheses of man-made global warming.

Richard Tol, professor of economics at the University of Sussex, said the calculations were flawed and the study should be retracted.

Bill Mahr tonight was discussing the wild fires in San Diego said the peer reviewed article on climate change have reached around 10k and they have found approximately about five articles which are contrary to the others......and guess who puts those links here.....PK, Markle, and Pace.......see a pattern.

I am not fully-sold on the climate-change argument, either, Seaoat. I got my MS in Biology and Coastal Zone Studies from UWF in 1992 and none of my professors ever mentioned global warming/man-made climate change. It should have been an issue in many of my classes and wasn't. Not even the late Dr. James Morgan, a retired professor from LSU who taught a class at UWF on Coastal Morphology and Processes said anything about it. He was a real smart guy who would not ordinarily overlook something that important.

I worry about the "Powers" behind all of this. The only real solution to freeing mankind from fossil fuels is to reduce the human population by a large proportion. Take away oil and gas and starvation and cold winters will accomplish exactly that.

The science is undisputed. I too disputed the cause of climate change until this year. The extreme weather has me certainly believing that man's contribution must be reduced. It is not the United States alone who can fix this problem, and the truth is that the cow may already be out of the barn, but to suggest that we do nothing is no longer acceptable......especially when that very coast you studied will be under two feet more of water in less than 100 years. The coastal erosion in Navarre is complex and largely attributable to the development blocking the east to west sand migration, but in forty years I have never seen the water coming over parts of the road between NB and PB......Florida is the most at risk state, yet the Charlie Crist power plant is pouring carbon and mercury into Escambia Bay and has only partially installed the scrubbers, and we allow the high mercury levels and input from the same to impact climate change and debate the same even existing.....that is no longer acceptable. We must be planning for how we will survive the coming changes.......not denying.

Think about this arrogance for a moment. Surely you remember taking science classes... reading about advances.

It's sad that a person who claims to have been a learned man could forget such base methods. Sad indeed comrade.

climate change isn't man made. anyone who thinks so can start eliminating their own footprint
