You're showing us all that you can't read again. $6 billion dollars wasn't lost. Rather, they're saying that there are $6 billion dollars worth of contracts that have incomplete paperwork.

It's being left because much of it can be used by Karzai's army, and, because it would cost too much to bring home and refurbish.

No doubt you would like us to waste thousands more American lives and zillions of bucks to occupy a country who accepts Taliban tyranny more than the one we try to foist on them. We've brought most of the Afghans nothing but pain and death and suffering, and a war that never ever will end. We've failed again at converting a foreign people to a democratic ally. Again. Again. Again ...

Herr Markle would have us continue the costly, un-winnable struggle because he's all for killing Americans for nothing other than assuaging Neocon egos. Reality!
