An opinion piece that is spot-on. The current problems in the Middle East were predicted about the same time that President George W. Bush declared "Mission Accomplished" while grandstanding on the deck of a U.S. aircraft carrier. Needless to say, 5K+ American war dead in Iraq occured after Bush declared the war finished.
