But!... But!... We're supposed to be in the middle of global warming because our scientists, and others who get Nobel Prizes for it, say so and know so much about how the earth works. They're real planetologists I tell ya'...

its a big business and they know most wont question and the ones who know they are lying wont say anything much because its such a big world wide business they would be ruined.

matter of a fact, they even had to change the name of it from that because scientist were speaking out against MAN MADE global warming, this is why they call it CLIMATE CHANGE now.

and it is climate change. of course it is. the climate has always changed.

Has anyone figured out how to stop an ice age? We don't even have a grip on volcanoes... what if there's a super one?

We're all frakked if either of those happen. Well... An ice age is survivable unless the earth turns into a complete iceball.

Hope you have your spaceship ark ready in your backyard.

come to think of it, I guess I would be better for a while to have a little continental slip with a few nasty earth quakes and some tsunamis than one of those. You know release a little built up pressure.  silent

Lol... I can't think of a better way to go. It sure as hell beats freezing to death... I think 10% of the population would survive.

I watched it. The political movement behind Climate Change is what we need to be wary of. This political movement stands ready to impose draconian rules on all of mankind, if allowed. It fits right in with the movement to establish a world governing body that will try and usurp the sovereignty of nations. You know, the New World Order.

Also, Wall Street is ready to start profiting from the imposition of carbon credits on businesses and individuals.

The day may come when Granny will not be allowed to run her heater because she has used up her carbon credits for the month. We should beware of the forces behind the politics of climate change.

There was a time on the planet when 100% of the people believed the earth was flat.

I no longer care about global warming or water or air pollution or the demise of the rain forests or any of that.
I don't have that many more years left. If the planet gets screwed up after I'm gone it's tough titty for those left but I'll be a bucket of ashes when it happens and won't know or care.

I was thinking the same thing.  I dont have much time left, maybe 10 years, if I am lucky.  I will hate to leave this world.  It has been fun.  Being dead seems a little boring.
But I can die happily knowing my folks will be milking the downtown "Cash Cow"

Why should we care about something that is so politically devisive that you have 50% of the people believing global warming is 100% true and 50% of the people believing that global warming is 100% false.
If I was gonna care about something like that I'd care about the issue of queerism which is just as divisive and I don't even give a shit about any of that any longer.
Fuck all that shit.  Let the rest of them fight it all out to the death for all I care.  It's all just wrastlin without the ring.

Let Jesus and Allah fix the fucking planet. They're the ones who created the goddamn thing. It's their fucking responsibility.

This generation will fix all the problems.

No matter. The sun is going into a period of lower activity (cyclical…they have been tracking sunspots for about four hundred years now). It will to some degree offset some climate warming (regardless of cause) and most likely bring some colder winters to places like Great Britain as changes in the upper atmosphere will cause greater fluctuations in the jet stream. We can also expect a lessening of the aurora borealis as sun activities slows.

Assuming there aren't larger cycles that we aren't aware of... just another unknown variable in the agw models.
