What are you whining about now, PeeDog?
Yes, this is yet another Obama Failure....
Good gosh you are a cry-baby.
This is about energy-efficiency and using less electricity. I now use LED light bulbs wherever I can, because they use 85% less electricity than the older incandescent bulbs. They end up paying for themeselves and save the user money in the long run by lowering power bills.
Welcome to the 21st Century.

President Obama has roughly 1,107 days left in office. That equates to about 4,400 or so PaceDog Obama-Hate threads, since he starts about 4 of these every day.
I am surprised PaceDog doesn't rant at the fact that the Marine Corps must tie-up an entire squadron of helicopters in Quantico Virginia just to fly Obama and his family around. Or, that the government bought a Boeing 747 to fly the Presidential family of 6 around the country and/or world. Or, that the President lives in a mansion big enough for 5 ordinary American families.
What else can we think of..... Oh, that Obama has the keys to start a nuclear war if he feels so inclined......(I feel safer with Obama having that authority than that dimwit Dubya) : P

So why wouldn't that have been enough to make people change the type light bulb they are using?
Did the government have to pass a law mandating everyone quit using typewriters when PC's began to come on the market at better prices?

Thank you for your perspective. Obviously, your rigid opposition to anything that counters your dedicated attack on Obama, leaves you incapable of comprehending the situation. Whether people believe something or not, scientific facts (which you are required by your boss to ridicule), are still facts. Try and grasp this Herr Markle, but the facts are LED lights do pay for themselves by reducing electrical costs, whether or not the majority of people are convinced enough to try it. Now that seems a reasonable item to mandate, with a worthy outcome. LOL

"It’s all part of the energy efficiency standards mandated by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007."
Dubya signed it into law.
Idiot.

But your homey, knowing it affects poor people in a negative manner, could have written an executive order to fix it...

I have no objection whatsoever to all the security necessary for the President of the United States. I'm happy that he lives in the White House.
I hate that he abuses his perks.
There is not "one" Boeing 747 but at least two identical aircraft. They fly together wherever the President flies. Then there are the support craft with all the SUV's, Secret Service, fighter cover planes. At least one Boeing 747 will be going back to Hawaii to pick up the First Lady from the extended Hawaiian vacation the President "gave" the First Lady for her birthday.
I wonder who will be paying for all these extravagant vacations after he leaves office?

Yet not a single word about any other president using or abusing presidential "perks". Are you aware that Bush spent 32% of his time in office on vacation?
