I might start paying with dimes and nickles counting 1 at a time and of course dropping a handful on top of the ones I already counted just to make it slower.. LOL

I price match at Walmart......some days I price match 10-15 items.Jake92 wrote:I might start paying with dimes and nickles counting 1 at a time and of course dropping a handful on top of the ones I already counted just to make it slower.. LOL
That is the way I pay most of my utilities also Jake. My bank is registered with most of my utility providers such as Cox and ECUA. If I pay the bill today, it shows up as being paid the very next day and the day after that the transaction has cleared the bank. Now like your bank, if mine is not registered it take about 5 days also for the bank to cut a check and pay the bill.Jake92 wrote:I use debit cards or cash except if I'm paying a bill by mail and I'll use a check.. Once in a while, I'll pay a bill on line, BUT the bank has to write a check to cover the bill and it takes 5 days or so for it to show up as being paid to the company it's going to..
Jake92 wrote:I use Regions Bank for the bills and NFCU for the mortgage.. MOST of the bills come out automatically except for Peoples Water.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
We bank with Regions, and I find it very convenient to use their website's "Bill Pay" feature for many bills. I do everything electronically now, and write maybe a dozen checks a year.Jake92 wrote:I use Regions Bank for the bills and NFCU for the mortgage.. Now that makes a lot of sense? I'm supposed to know the person is going to pull out a checkbook after they get rung up and I should move to another line and wait all over again? I won't have time to smell the roses cause old farts w/ checks take up my time.Ghost Rider wrote:People are in just too big of a hurry these days. They need to stop and smell the roses. Stop getting aggravated and annoyed by every little grievance that comes your way. If I have to stand in line for a few additional minutes, then so be it. You as the shopper made the choice as to which check-out to go to, if something in that annoys your ass, move to another line. Too much aggravation will lead to conditions in your body that are not healthy.
What are you cheering about? You just agreed on the page before.LOL!jose balu wrote:I'll second thatJoanimaroni wrote:Ghost Rider wrote:People are in just too big of a hurry these days. It looks as if the point of my post went completely over your head. The point is we all need to slow down and stop getting aggravated at every little grievance that annoys us. Getting pissed because someone pulls out a checkbook at the last minute to me is a sign of a problem within those that get annoyed. In your post itself, it sums up exactly what your problem is, you are living in your hurry up world and all that matters is yourself and screw everybody else.Dreamsglore wrote:Now that makes a lot of sense? It was Jake not Joani.Ghost Rider wrote:Show me where Joani has agreed with you.Dreamsglore wrote:

Oh stuff it Mr. Perfect. It is a courtesy not to hold everyone up in line. You got it backwards.Ghost Rider wrote:It looks as if the point of my post went completely over your head. If I see someone getting annoyed because I am moving too slow, then watch out because I will slow down even more.
Sweetie, I am a long way from being perfect. So I guess it makes you the perfect one for wanting people to hurry up and get out of your way. I sure as hell hope you don't drive like you wait in line at the checkout.Dreamsglore wrote:Oh stuff it Mr. Perfect. It is a courtesy not to hold everyone up in line. They ought to be penalized....$5 each, for items that are over the limit.cool1 wrote:the only thing that bothers me is having to wait behind someone while there other half is running through the store still shopping.
If I do this I let the next person go ahead .
If its one item close then I don't mind.
writing a check doesn't bother me -Its not my place to tell them how to pay for there merchandise .
another thing how do you like those who run the buggy through a 10 item or less --with a buggy with--50 items lol And the person who checks them out does it anyway making the person wait behind them that has only 2 items.

What would be the good reason? Huh? That is my pet peeve like it or not Ghost. Excuse me for living for replying to the wrong person. Looks like you're looking for any nitpick you can find. There may be a good reason the person is doing what they are doing and the way they are doing it. It is like a person that has a handicap placard or license plate and just to look at them you cannot tell they are handicapped.
BTW, if it was Jake that you said was agreeing, then you replied to the wrong people. You ask Joani and jose balu why they were cheering since they agreed on the previous page. How were we supposed to know you were addressing that to Jake?
You didn't on the first page. Make up your mind.Jake92 wrote:I wish the cashier would stop at the # of items and ask for payment, then after they pay, tell them to move to another line with the rest of the order.. I know the manager would never let a cashier do that, but I would love to see it just once..
About the , Ghost commented, Joani cheered, balu double cheered, and then I triple cheered because I agreed...
