Had Mitt Romney been elected president in 2012, would he have pressed Congress to raise the debt ceiling? Yes...

Would PaceDog be carping about raising the debt ceiling in a Romney administration? Doubtful, and he likely would be blaming Democrats for it, as usual...
Rolling Eyes

Romney had no plans to cut the government at all. In fact, he was ready to double-down on defence spending, requiring yet more debt. A deficit hawk he was not.

He's (Obama) inherited 5 trillion and increased it 3 fold and then some. Take your excuses for the wannabee elsewhere. It's getting old. We will never know what Romney would have done and for you to speculate is asinine like most of your posts.

I think you need remedial math classes. When President Barack Obama was inaugurated on January 20, 2009, the National Debt was $10.6 trillion. It was $5.7 trillion when Dubya's regime came to power.

Romney would have made excuses and continued the status quo. That is what Establishment politicians do.

Talk about asinine posts..... Yours is simply one of many that you have made. Razz
