Now they're conducting a vigorous investigation to see if anyone else has escaped.

Yes, both were serving a life sentence.  I bet they are re-evaluating how they release inmates.

Now there will be four or more in prison. They had accomplices prepare documents, someone who knows the system, forged signatures, worked them into the proper channels and then just waited to see if it worked.

IF they're found, and if this was so well planned to this point, they must have had a plan to disappear as well. If they prepared the documents for the escape so easily, it seems passports, drivers licenses, SS cards and such would be a breeze.

Escapees captured at Coconut Grove Motel in Panama City. With as much planning went into the escape, I thought they'd have had a better plan after they were out. Obviously not.
