Hospitals have been closing, people are being laid off or put to part time work. ins co's are pulling out offering less choices which means fewer providers to provide services.

Gov is now trying to bail out some dying hospitals. rejoice!

These are just the facts.
Wrong, again. Please stop confusing your opinion with facts.
It is impossible for the PPACA to have done what you said. What has hurt hospitals, especially not-for-profit ones, is the cuts in medicaid reimbursements that has happened over the last 3 years.
Part of the PPACA is helping hospitals modernize their infrastructure. Every hospital in the U.S. has received money to do this. This will reduce future costs, and streamline the electronic medical record system.  This is not a bailout, notwithstanding what Hannity told you. This is investing in the future.
I know, all this future talk confuses you.
Ultra-conservatives are not known for future thinking, are they?
Thanks.
You simply do not know what you are talking about. its MEDICARE CUTS, not Medicaid.

modernize infrastructure LOL you call the EMR enforcement infrastructure LMAO. that's not what im talking about either, some hospitals in the nation are going bankrupt like the one in NY, the feds are trying to save it with a bailout.

now as far as any talking heads telling me a damn thing, NOT. I know what I know from working in healthcare and you know it.

far left liberals are known for their projecting. Some more than others.

He is bloviating. He doesn't have a clue. Physicians and hospitals have had problems with medicaid for well over 15 years, not 3 years.
.

Medicaid is complex and wasteful – already the worst health care program in the country. Instead of making changes to improve and modernize the program designed to provide care mainly for children, low income pregnacy, the elderly, and disabled.....they want to add more patients. Making families with an income of $30,000 eligible for medicaid.

As it has been for over 15 years medicaid has extremely low reimbursement percentage and very very slow to pay.....making it a financial burden for health practioners. Hospitals, like Sacred Heart that cares for an excessive amount of medicaid patients ( children and low income pregnancy) receive extra reimbursement percentages.

Now with cuts to medicare......physicians and hospitals will suffer another significant hit.

Your hypocrisy confuses me.
If Obama saves money with a cut, we must call it savings, and that is bad, correct? See, following all you far-far-righties' hypocrisy is confusing.
Because if Republicans save money by cutting food for poor people, that is a savings and it it good.

Let's recap because I am still confused.....
OBAMA=CUT=SAVINGS=BAD BECAUSE HE IS BLACK.
REPUBS=CUT=SAVINGS=GOOD JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT.

Now, I get it. Thanks.

When you use the accusation of racism itself as a pejorative... it is racism. You also injure an important issue.

That's very selfish of you... even more so considering that you do this in a feeble attempt to win a political argument.

I stand open for correction then, p-bum. You started this cuts-called-savings-thing is bad.
Please explain why when Obama makes a cut in anything it must be called saving and why that is bad.
Then explain why when Repubs take food from poor people it is called savings and it is good.
What is the difference?  A cut is a cut, and savings is savings.
Why is it bad when Obama does it, but it is good when Repubs do it?
The only logic and reasonable answer is because he is black.
Please correct me, if I am wrong, if you dare.
Thanks.

I don't think it's bad... but nothing was really saved because the money was shifted to expand medicaid. It's the administration that is trying to use the word save... not me. I'm just mocking the rhetoric and the way words/meanings keep being changed.

I see no cuts all I see is a redistribution of money.

So let's recap...

The republicans actually cut funds in an attempt to balance the budget and that's bad.

The democrats simply redistribute the money to another fund calling it a cut and that's good because they supposedly saved money without decreasing spending and that's good.

By the way... How much more money above and beyond that 'cut' had to go into it to help with your 'cut'?

You hypocrisy appears to know no bounds.
