I love my dogs. I would do almost anything, but what is happening in Vet offices all over America is wrong, and the FTC looked into the funeral business many years ago where people were getting ripped off by appealing to their heartstrings. I think vets must review their ethical standards. There are many good people helping animals. Our pup we have now was rescued from a kill pound in TN. People go to these pounds and save healthy pups, neuter and spay, find adoptive homes, and the new owners pay 350 bucks for the pups to cover the costs. 10k could have saved 30 pups from the gas chamber, and although I agree completely with Joanni on children, even on an animal level these specialist vets are consuming huge amounts of the animal welfare budget private and public as our priorities are being manipulated by just this type of video. Look in the eyes of healthy pups about to be gassed and talk to me about priorities. We need more pups being spayed and neutered, we need more kill pound rescues and adoptions, but that takes resources, and it does not make a vet rich.
