The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a Sunday home invasion in the 100 block of South Third Street.
Officers, who responded to the invasion at about 9:30 p.m., said the owner of the home was answering the door when three men wearing masks forced their way inside the residence. One of the suspects was wielding a knife.
The homeowner grabbed a bat and struck one of the invaders with it, officers said. The men then fled north on Third Street.
Officers said one suspect was described as wearing a white T-shirt and red pants. Another suspect was wearing all dark clothing.
