It would appear that the treaty will be in direct conflict with the arms/gunrunning policy of president obama.

WAR CRIMINAL..!!

Keer's just another dumbass on Obama's short leash.

Anyway, it's dead in the water. Any politician that supports it probably doesn't want to keep their position. As it should be.

Impeachment can't be too far off.

It'll be amusing watching the Tea Party and Republicans take over the senate also next election cycle.

Never be ratified ...

Of course not.

We'd never ratify a treaty that would ban the sale of tanks, armored combat vehicles, large-caliber artillery systems, combat aircraft, attack helicopters, warships, missiles and missile launchers, and small arms and light weapons to governments that are engaged in genocide or crimes against humanity ....

.... because we are fucking insane.

No, only you.

It gives power to regulate our weapons to the United Nations.

Never happen. NEVER.

No, the US did NOT sign the treaty, John Kerry signed the treaty. It will NEVER be ratified by the Senate.

and oboma can not use any presidential powers to implement it.

question is, now that a official representative has signed it will the UN still hold us to it. Because they really don't recognize our constitution if you haven't noticed. The UN pretty much thinks like oboma with regards to our constitution.

and is this something the next prez can have un signed?

The Senate has to ratify the treaty by a 2/3 vote. Impossible. The Senate will vote it down and that ends it unless it is presented again.

John Kerry signed it as a good lap dog of President Barack Hussein Obama and please the Progressive voter base.
