Those luxurious world cruises for President Barack Hussein Obama, his family and administration, with the aircraft carrier group escort must be looking better and better. President Obama's foreign policy is in tatters and creating an incredibly more dangerous world than when he took office.

The economy continues its downward slide as President Obama, the administration and much of his media try to portray it as all sunshine and roses. Meantime fewer and fewer people are working, which produces fewer and fewer jobs and lower and lower revenues.

‘The Great Shift’: Americans Not Working
By DAVID LEONHARDT

Looking at these two charts together is a quick way to become demoralized about the American economy:

Economy continues its Malaise. Labor Participation Rate Hits 34 Year Low. The Economy...Syria...Iran...Numerous Scandals.... 982013EmploymentUn

Yes, the unemployment rate has fallen. But almost the entire reason it has fallen is the drop in the number of people in the labor force — either working or actively looking. As Binyamin Appelbaum has noted, the share of adult Americans with jobs is essentially unchanged over the last three years.

Ive been very worried about this for a while.

What I see happening in this country is that the divide is growing exponentially with larger corporations getting larger to survive and smaller ones dying off. Im speaking specifically to healthcare because this is my profession but I am sure that it is happening in other fields as well.

on top of it all, because the economy has been depressed for so long people are getting to the point of hopelessness.

I personally do not think our situation will improve too much until Obama leaves office.

if we elect another American hater we are finished.

Only good ole American pride and love for country can save us. Its what built us, it can save us. But who has that?

I understand you remain a defiant opponent of President Obama and I celebrate your right to that position.  Remember, President Obama was elected to a 2nd term by the American people in a convincing election victory . . . . . by the tone of your remarks you lay all blame for our problems at his feet as I concede he is our President; however, you never complain about the opposition party's reason for existence which is to not cooperate with this administration in any shape or form if it even risks allowing him a semblance of a policy victory.  Also, the reason Obama won were the clowns running against him all trying to go farther and farther to the right in an effort to win support from a limited and dwindling base of Tea Party "Patriots".  I surmise you would prefer Mortimer Snerd over Obama . . . . . the only viable GOP candidate that I could have voted for was Jon Huntsman but he was too smart, too reasonable, too knowledgeable of foreign affairs and too willing to make hard decisions to actually effectuate a government that is not dysfunctional.  Maybe Hillary will make you happier . . . .

When asked about George W. Bush’s greatest achievement, Bush hagiographers are quick to claim that “He kept us safe.” And when we ponder that sentiment, we can only wonder at the human capacity for self-delusion, especially when it was on Bush’s watch that the U.S. suffered the worst attack on its soil since Pearl Harbor.
It’s true that the U.S. was not attacked on its soil AGAIN (by foreign terrorists) since September 11, 2001 (and December 22, 2001 when British-born terrorist Richard Reid attempted to detonate a shoe bomb on AA flight 63 from Paris to Miami), but if you want to give Bush credit for that you must give Bill Clinton even more credit. It was just over a month after Clinton’s inauguration when terrorists bombed the subterranean garage of the World Trade Center, killing six and injuring more than 1,000. Yet not only did Clinton’s Justice Department capture, try, and convict the culprits, Clinton kept the U.S. safe from foreign terrorists (on U.S. soil) for the remainder of his two terms.
Over the eight years under President Clinton approximately 101 Americans (military and/or civilian) were killed and 1,219 wounded by foreign terrorists or fighters either on U.S. soil or “in theater” during a military deployment.
Contrast that with President Bush. Under his leadership, more than 7,077 Americans (military and/or civilian) were killed and 40,030 wounded by foreign terrorists or fighters either on U.S. soil or “in theater” during military operations. These 47,107 casualties don’t include non-hostile deaths of deployed troops (another 1,050), nor do they include the thousands of cases of PTSD and other long-term after-effects of multiple deployments.
So when you hear “at least Bush kept us safe,” keep in mind that you can’t be considered safe… if you’re maimed or dead.

I don't blame Obama... I think it was pretty apparent prior to the '12 election what he was all about.

Obama can shove "fundamentally" changing America right up his ass.

Very bad thing to elect such an evil man.

Please include President Barack Hussein Obama's record and find something other than a HATE BUSH site. He has been out of office now for five years. When does President Barack Hussein Obama assume responsibility for anything?

Very good post, FT. But don't worry, Markle has a cut-and-paste that blames 9/11 on Clinton and exonerates Bush from complicity with anything that went wrong during his time as President. Rolling Eyes

Do you deny that any of the FACTS concerning President William Jefferson Clinton and 9/11 are true? You can not because they are well known and painful to Progressives.

AGAIN, you left out President Barack Hussein Obama...why?

As you know, here is where the money is coming from in the growing stock market. We're printing worthless pieces of paper. Why is the market so afraid the Fed will quit printing money?

Since President Barack Hussein Obama took office the chart has had to be expanded three times. Whew. Where are those dollars going?
