Something I didn't know: Zimmerman was prescribed Adderall and Tenazepam (Restoril).

The first step a racist must accomplish is to take the humanity away from those who are different........if there is not some storyline which makes this person less, we would have to look at this killing and consider the victim a human being. Yes this whole damned country does the same thing to the thousands of men women and children it kills feeding the MIC each so-called war so yeah pretty standard operation...just like when the media skewed everything at the beginning of this drama...Of course it depends what side you are on and your agenda how you receive the skewing. Actually I don't ever want to see or hear either one of their names again. All it does for me is show how easy the sheep of this country are manipulated and lead around by the media. It's in deed a very sad thing to watch mindless automatons spout the rhetoric they have been brainwashed and programmed into regurgitating on cue. The masters love the division as they plunder, murder and steal from our unborn grandchildren any future they might have had...but hey seaoat will tell you it's the baby-boomers fault...great programming huh ?

Wow! All of this because some chose to review all the evidence and make an informed opinion, an opinion that mirrored the jury decision. Sorry if my opinion did not match yours; you are welcome to continue to invent reasons and evidence to support your beliefs.

Again, no comment on Zimmerman's drug use? At least one, if not both of the drugs he was taking are commonly prescribed by psychiatrists. Any of this ringing any bells yet? Joani, why don't you describe the side effects of the drugs and their potential for abuse...or the combination of alcohol and the above drugs...? Anything?

How long was he on the medication? The drug, Adderall, is prescribed for children and adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder not just by psychiatrists...you can add pediatricians, family practice, internal medicine...... It is also prescribed for narcolepsy in adults. Side effects are listed and are not a certainty but can occur. Normally, if a patient experiences side effects the medication is changed. It is not uncommon for patients on Adderall to have difficulty sleeping....Temazepam which is Restoril is a commonly used sleeping pill. Again, if side effects are experienced (which would prevent sleep) the medication is changed.

Not everyone on these medications have side effects.


Adderall is a central nervous system stimulant and alcohol is central nervous system depressant.....the combination of Adderall and excessive alcohol would cause heart problems not aggressive violent behaviour as suggested. Restoril taken with alcohol would cause symptoms like dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating.

From listening to the interviews with George....IMO he was not showing any behavioural effects associated with adverse side effects to the medication.

agreed. He did not show much emotion on the killing, which seemed odd to me, but certainly not anything which indicated his speech, actions, or though process was clouded by drug use.

Adderall can cause aggressiveness, and both drug can cause mood-swings.

I doubt that entering this information into evidence would have had any effect on the case, although the failure to draw Zimmerman's blood is indicative of the shoddy nature of the initial police investigation.

The police can't just arbitrarily perform an invasive procedure on an individual.

Jesus! Why don't you provide some evidence these drugs were even any influence instead of desparately looking for confirmation Zimmerman was at fault? Both these drugs have sedating qualities. Adderal is just speed and restoril is a sleep seditive.

A court order can easily and quickly be obtained in a homicide investigation.
