All these false scandals, and now the deficit is dropping like a rock.......four balanced budgets since 1961.......we are tracking finally in the right direction.

Where are the folks clapping for his performance.

The debt is reducing?

2seaoat

Debt as a percentage of GDP is most certainly showing reductions.....still have a deficit, but it too is dropping like a rock.......simple success. But lets talk about five bucks for copy costs, or some other manufactured crisis.......raising revenues and cutting spending.......simple success.

Think of the temporary success we can have if the govt and fed could force all private savings/cash into the market?

Compulsory spending is next... What can go wrong?

Huh? I am getting sleepy and do not comprehend. I know you think government has no purpose, but how did we go from the great success of reducing debt......to compulsory spending.........I think you are missing the obvious........we are getting things right. It is obvious nobody wants to discuss this success without slight of hand......compulsory spending? huh?

I don't know how much clearer I can make it with my limited knowledge of economics... a set of circumstances that would force people to spend. Japan has been trying this for years... but low demand has counterd an upward force on goods... a sluggish growth. If manipulations/interventions could start pushing up prices enough... people would spend before their paper currency lost significant value. Compulsory spending... there are probably better terms that margin or boards could use... but that's the basic premise. I do know that these actions are highly volatile.

He probably thinks a Republican president would institute policies that make the price of oil go down. Doubtful, but whatever.....

The future trends in the price of oil are upward. That $1.58 price point for gasoline was just a temporary dip in the great scheme of things. The next big psychological shock that will push the price of oil waaay-up is going to occur when Saudi Arabia becomes a net importer of oil. No later than 2030.

You said the same thing about job creation. But half a homey the ass clown still takes credit for the few jobs that are created.

Walmart hires a ton of halfwits as part time employees. Right?

Yep, and we were at the nadir of the recession. How high did it get under Bush? Carry on.

Distilling every issue down to "it's the President's fault" is how simple minds deal with issues.

Actually. there was a study on this. Unpublished. The orourke-lilliard study. It said that most liberals carry the party line on and lie about job creation and gas prices. Teeter-totter depending on what is actually happening at the time. If it's good, it's obamas doing. If it's bad(like double the price of gas) the president doesn't control that. Unless it's lower prices(then, obama did it) all praise the mighty one with an umbrella held by a Marine. Here's your free cell phone.

That is what Markle does every day on this forum. He blames everything wrong in this country on the Democrats, while giving the Republicans credit for all that is right. Carry on....

This proves you're wrong, plus the words of President Barack Hussein Obama himself.

“But is the overall goal to get our price” of gasoline down, asked Senator Nunnelee.

“No, the overall goal is to decrease our dependency on oil, to build and strengthen our economy,” Energy Secretary Chu replied. “We think that if you consider all these energy policies, including energy efficiency, we think that we can go a long way to becoming less dependent on oil and [diversifying] our supply and we’ll help the American economy and the American consumers.”

Who else would be to blame? Democrats/Progressives are in charge of everything and now using the most feared agency in the country, the IRS against their enemies.

It really gets under your skin that my posts are accurate, factual and from reliable sources and links.

Unlike whoever started this thread who proved they don't know the debt from the deficit.

You don't get under anybody's skin here, Markle. That is because most people only look at your posts for laughs. You are actually amusing to watch--It is fun to watch neocon wingnuts when they come unglued on this forum.

Obama may be a genius and the most competent president this or any other country has ever had. His shit may not even stink. And everyone who does not believe that could be a racist.
But there is no debt reduction. The debt is being added to every day of the week. The debt grows bigger every day of the week. Reduction would mean the debt is getting smaller. And it aint. It getting bigger.
