I now understand what this is all about, doubtingthomas.
This applies to those who are being charged a "termination fee" when T-Mobile told them there would be no such fee.

I'm afraid this doesn't apply to me. In my case no attempt was made to charge me this fee. I had ordinary prepaid service which anyone can terminate at any time without penalty. What happened to me is that when I ended my service and I was fully paid up with T-Mobile, I still had $100 credit on my account. And T-Mobile refused to refund that credit balance and just decided my money was theirs.

But I really appreciate your posting this. Because it's just more evidence that T-Mobile is a crooked outfit run by outlaws and no one should ever consider doing business with it.
