Unfortunate circumstances have me here in the Washington D.C. area during this time of political upheaval. And worse, reading the local papers shows how utterly despicable BHO has become. It has come to the attention of the public that during this second coronation today the many homeless people of D.C. (where BHO lives in splendor) must not be seen by the masses who come to worship their hero. They are being rounded up and taken to homeless shelters. Out of sight, out of mind. As one homeless guy said - "he wanted our vote now they don't want us seen." You get what you vote for....

It's fact...we do that in cities that host the Olympics as well. I can remember the homeless area in Atlanta where people lived in cardboard shanties being destroyed and everyone evicted back in 1996. Can't have the world seeing how the other half lives ya know.

What we need is a growing middle class. We need jobs to pay a living wage so people could get off the streets and live in decent circumstances. But hey, you wouldn't want to put any undue burdens on "THE JOB CREATORS"! If they are so good at creating jobs, where are the jobs?

We need more and real reform of the financial sector so the banks are not too big to fail. As readers will note they are larger now than when their possible failure threatened the global economy. Socialism for corporations and capitalism for the rest of us is a hell of a way to run the country.

I know the Olympics in Atlanta was before this last financial bust but it is a familiar cycle of boom-bust. It is a disgrace to have homeless people in a country as wealthy as ours. Apparently we think it is more important that the scoundrels who brought down the banking system get their golden parachutes than veterans receive mental health care and decent housing.

It is a system gone off the tracks.

Once again you are proven to be a narrow minded idiot. Not surprising as you prove it nearly every time you post your idiotic opinions here.

HOW is it even possible for their to be homeless...poverty?...Watch the (lame)mainstream media and the economic news is great..better than eight years...It's an illustration of reality...round up the homeless givem a meal or two ...place to sleep and clean up...register them and get their vote perhaps a photo op for compassion sake and then when it's ALL ABOUT ONE...get these unsightly people out of the way!...Nice though that the homeless can see that they were used...

Most people who are homeless dont care about any politic. They also dont really reflect what we are or are not doing right as far as job creation goes. Most of them do not want jobs. They are not interested in partaking in the American system where you grow up, get a job and pay for your own stuff. Most of these people have issues and some of them just dont want to be part of what we see as the foundation for our country. They live in another reality. I know this as a fact. I lived it.

The reality is they are perfectly happy being touted by any side that wants to use them. They want to be used. The left can USE these people way more easily than the right. Because they serve as a heart string puller for the gullible. But trust me, try to round most of these people up and give them jobs other than voting for a handout, good luck.

obama's goal I would imagine at this point is to make Americans think everything is ok. The media will help him. Suffering people need to be hidden. Should be easy to do, Americans have ignored plenty of suffering people all over the world, why not ignore the ones we have here?

After all, its really just one big world full of eleite dictators and poor people in the shadows, right?

So 'nightmare' what 'nochain' reported that he'd read was a fabrication of the truth?...Why is what he said so difficult to believe....there was nothing negative simply pointing out what was reported and a quote from a homeless individual...

The Homeless Crisis certainly meant something different under previous administrations!...At that time the president and his policies were a direct reason for the crisis...now times once again have certainly changed...It's funny that when democrats are in power there seem to be a lot less crisis like the homeless but there still seem large numbers of them...

The crisis is still there as we know. But remember, if the crisis cant be utilized to push the agenda, it needs to be hidden till its needed. This is the way of the new world.

And yet... the 'compassionate' folks now in charge were certainly not speaking the same as they were in their rhetoric aimed at someone else...
