Laugh it up people....this is serious. I just wonder how many of Assad's own people will die trying to set these things up to use on the civilian population. This might be Assad's version of Halabja. Google up Halabja and see what happened. It wasn't pretty and it can be done easily with the paltry air mobility that Assad currently has in his inventory.

The military has loaded the precursor chemicals for sarin, a deadly nerve gas, into aerial bombs that could be dropped onto the Syrian people from dozens of fighter-bombers, the officials said.

As recently as Tuesday, officials had said there was as yet no evidence that the process of mixing the "precursor" chemicals had begun. But Wednesday, they said their worst fears had been confirmed: The nerve agents were locked and loaded inside the bombs.

This has passed the point of critical. If the reports are true, the gas has a shelf life of 90 days after having been mixed. From reports, and who knows how accurate or inaccurate they might be, the liquids have been placed in breakable containers. How breakable? Breakable when dropped from five or ten THOUSAND feet or five or ten FEET? What too do you have to have done to be among those filling the containers?

Meanwhile President Barack Hussein Obama is more interested in winning a game of "chicken" over a tax rate increase that won't make a dimes difference in our economic problems. He even admits it isn't the rate that matters, it is the principal and that the rate should be more FAIR. Regardless of whether it generates fewer revenues.

Agreed, Markle, but in truth, all I can think of is the many empires who spread themselves too thin and failed as a result.................why do we think we are impervious?

There is no tax rate that will satisfy Obama's/Congress's spending habits. We simply can't.

Yet, more and more problems arise that we, as the world police seem to feel the need to involve ourselves in..........and can not afford.

BTW "FAIR" was explained to me as a young child as being equal.

We split our PB&J's equally not by how many jars of peanut butter and jelly we had at home.

Different concept Obama has..........totally different concept of "FAIR".

I would point out that historically empires who have spread themselves to thin. (the sun never sets on the empire of Great Britain) When they conquered countries, they KEPT THEM and they became a part of the conquering country.

We have never done that and that what makes us different. The only land we have ever kept is enough space to bury our dead. We then help rebuild that country and they become allies instead of possessions.

Our nation was not founded on "Fairness". It was founded on equal OPPORTUNITIES, NOT EQUAL "FAIR" OUTCOME.

Progressives complain that some businesses do not pay their employees enough for a decent standard of living. How much is someone who took school with a grain of salt, ridiculed and many time bullied those students who worked hard, barely graduated IF they graduated, has no skills, not experience, supposed to be paid?

At the same time, Progressives demand that successful people PAY MORE IN TAXES in order to GIVE more to those who refused to play by the rules. Those who worked hard in school, graduated, went on to college or a good technical school, studied, graduated, got a degree in a USEFUL field, THEN got married, THEN had children, planned for the future, saved, invested in stocks, bonds, and all the time working 60-80 hours per week. Thanks to the Progressives and President Barack Hussein Obama these people must be PUNISHED for their hard work.

No one has been able to explain how that is good for America.
