If Dems really wanted her as POTUS,
They would have supported her in 08 and not some unknown senator

I guess we'll see but we have a pretty good idea what the platform she's running on is and those positions are pretty popular.

What are the GOP candidates running on?

What are they offering the American people?

The voters will have to choose between war with Iran or continued economic recovery. The answer to that one is easy.

People that used to have 20 per hour jobs now working two jobs at 8 per hour isn't an economic recovery

I guess it's good strategy, but she didn't even appear until 90 seconds in, and the message I got was kinda, "Hey, forget about me, this is about you, please, please, please, forget about me.".

With all the Clinton fatigue, it may be good strategy, but I'm not sure it's gonna sell in a long national campaign.

I think your perception is accurate; it is an attempt to say it isn't about her. Whether or not one buys into that message is another story.

What I like about it is the diversity of people, and those people portrayed as a normal part of this country; no exclusions, nobody left out.

Hillary can't lose.   Her opponent is for banning abortion, deporting millions of Latinos who are here illegally, limiting by way of new ID requirements the vote of black Americans, college students, and Latin Americans, starting a new costly, unwinnable war with Iran, reducing taxes on bloodsucking corporations, removing the minimum wage, terminating social security, healthcare, and environmental regulations.  Hillary's opponent will continue the republican thrust to keep America a country for the rich, by the rich and of the rich.


Can't wait for someone to ask the current batch of republican contenders if they believe in evolutionary science.


Because corporations have taken control of our government through campaign financing, our leaders are no longer OUR leaders.  They're THEIR leaders.


Not one of the 403 current republicans running for president intends to change the rules that allow fascism to run the country.

I'm not sure anyone other than Elizabeth Warren has the charisma to pull it off, although Martin O'Malley is gonna try, and he'll receive my full support.

You make an interesting point here Sal.  But I don't know enough about O'Malley to comment one way or the other.

Like you I'd back Liz Warren in a heartbeat.  I don't like Hillary any more than I like Bush.  I'll be watching O'Malley closely now ....

I'm waiting to see who else runs, but if she is the nominee, which at this point seems pretty likely, she will have my vote. There is absolutely nobody running in the GOP that could earn my vote!
