Trump's press conference today...he will not divest, but will turn over all operations to his sons.  He has never had dealings with Russia.  I just turned down a $2 billion deal in Dubai...because that might be a conflict of interest...but (take note)...a 1988 change in the law (George H W Bush's tenure) exempts both the President and the VP from having a conflict of interest.  So he's just doing this Trust thingy as a courtesy...because he doesn't really have to do it.  Dear GOD, help our country.

Let's say this is true about the award. How does Trump end up picking them to do his work? Don't you think, given all the concern over his Russian connections, love of Putin, previous desire to do business in Russia etc. that he would steer away from YET ANOTHER such connection if for no other reason than just the sheer optics of it?

Let's say it is not true, totally a made up thing, no such award etc. So then people just stop paying attention to the news since it is a waste of time? Is that what the goal is? They want to function without press oversight?
