One Republican Senator.....we have no comprehensive plan to replace ACA

Some are promising a comprehensive bill by February. Others are saying that they will have to do it in piecemeal. The truth is that the American people have been lied to for six years. The Republicans do not have a transition plan from the ACA to a better health care legislated solution. They have confusion and chaos which some argue could put a one trillion dollar in our budget if fools bring uncertainty to the markets. Florida alone could lose 100k jobs and California 300k. President elect Trump is getting push back from Senators, and he has not even taken office. How he reacts to this push back and chaos will be interesting.

Same plan they always had, if you can't pay then don't get sick. If you do get sic then die. End of story.

There are literally thousands of vacant hospitals all over the country from the big corps swallowing the community hospitals. The govt should just initiate it's own system for its various programs.

You got your candidate, you have the senate, you have the house, yet even as we speak all you critics had a better way, and your answer is the government should just initiate it's own system for its various programs. Well we are waiting, but it is obvious. The ACA was not that bad, and it actually helped Americans, but you have something better.......use empty hospitals. So a system of government hospitals like VA. So instead of a blend of capitalism and socialism, you want communism......you are one confused puppy who has been talking chit about the ACA for six years, and your plan......fill empty hospitals. Wow.

First... for the very slow... he's not my candidate. Second... I'm about practical solutions... particularly when it hasn't been a capitalist system since the fdr years. But you know that... yet ignore it for political purposes. What I propose would allow for a semi-free alternative... that's what you fear.

Oh please quit your self delusion. On every thread for a year you attacked Hillary Clinton, and NEVER attacked President elect Trump in thread after thread you actually rationalized his behavior, and then like clockwork, attacked Hillary Clinton. You cannot say you quit smoking and then smoke a carton of smokes, and then say again you do not smoke. Self delusion.

yes, we live in a capitalist society. Your deficit in political concepts, like your self delusion about who you supported in the election are obvious to everyone but yourself. You are the one who just suggested government running abandoned hospitals for health care......mind boggling stupid, but the worst part like your self delusion of who you supported in the election, or your self delusion that we do not live in a capitalist society, you think a new VA system using abandoned hospitals is the answer.......we all know what you really mean is to create poor houses in place of progressive social services for American citizens. You are only fooling yourself. No

We were lied to that we could keep our coverage, keep our doctors, and that it would be affordable. Of those three things ALL were lies.

The ACA is useless. It was a lie from the start. Lies about keeping your coverage. Lies about keeping your doctor. Lies about affordability. Sure, you can afford the premiums, but not a trip to the doctor with the high deductibles. The ACA was about wealth redistribution...end of story.

Are you on a subsidized health care plan provided under the ACA?

Absurd.

It's been an enormous success.

It has provided health coverage to 20 million people.

It's massively reduced the cost of health coverage for low-income families.

It's reduced the rates of uninsured by half among blacks and whites and by a quarter among Hispanics.

It's allowed people with expensive, chronic illnesses to get treatment.

It will help keep overall health costs down in the future.

It's had no negative impact on the employer health care system.

It's done all this without raising the deficit ... in fact, it's cut the deficit.

Nearly every single aspect of the ACA is not just popular, but very popular.

Does it have some problems?

Sure it does.

Some regions don't have enough competition.

Deductibles are too high if you choose to purchase a bronze plan.

And, a small segment of the population has been hit with steep premium increases.

But, those problems are affecting 10% of Obamacare at most.

90% is working spectacularly well.

I understand that you can't acknowledge this, because you're a partisan hack.

Or, maybe you just don't understand it, because you're an idiot.

Which is it, PeeDawg?
