As if all the appointments Elizabeth Warren lists are not enough we have all of his personal business interest/conflicts to look forward to.

Too bad the media did not give enough attention to all the problems the country now faces due to Trump's holdings all over the world. How about all those buildings with the president elect's name on them? Do you think they might become target for terrorist actions? Why not just paint a target on them? Who is going to be responsible for security and protection of those buildings?

We have zero evidence that Trump will divest himself of his holdings; perhaps this couldn't even be accomplished in four years? His children, who are supposed to be getting ready to run his businesses in a "blind trust" and have nothing to do with the running of the government have instead been active in the transition team attending meetings and sitting in on all sorts of government business.

Too bad most people thought he had a 20% chance of winning and the media didn't think this problem warranted coverage so didn't concern us with all of the conflicts we now face. We will be sitting on the sidelines watching while he charges taxpayers to protect his holdings, sabotages the environment, tried to privatize Social Security and rakes in (b?) millions through payments from foreign businesses and governments.

Do you think the Republican controlled congress will call one investigative committee?

If good Germans had only become involved........yep, same old story. If folks do not care to vote when we live in an amazing nation which gives every citizen an opportunity to vote, yet when horrible things happen to American citizens because of the policies implemented.....those that did not vote will squeal the loudest. Not a bit of sympathy.

Surprisingly according to analysis of voting patterns many people who voted for Obama voted for Trump in 2016. Many union members voted Trump too presumably because of his promises to bring back manufacturing jobs to the rust belt.

Voter turnout is down but that's not the only problem. People bought his line and didn't think it through. We were all mislead by the idea that his election was next to impossible by the polling data. The Trump phenomena was discounted from the start when he was on stage with umpteen other candidates. His success cannot be denied any longer and I'm wondering now if it can even be moderated by legal or governmental means.

I hear donations to environmental causes like the Sierra Club, Nature Conservancy and Earth Justice are up as are donations to independent news organizations, Planned Parenthood, Southern Poverty Law Center, etc.

The bottom line is: the country lost, Trump Inc. won, the election is over but the nightmare continues. We are not moving on so much as we're moving "into" a new political reality. As is oft repeated in the news these days: we are in unchartered territory. Also heard is the term "unconventional".

Trump is as independent as a hog on ice.

As Trump didn't really Need the press to validate him he also controls much of the news cycle with his Tweet Storms that bypass the press. Investigative reporters will have to be very focused if they hope to get any news out about the workings of his administration.

How could President-Elect Donald Trump be more open with his administration?
