Philadelphia police organization unhappy with Democrats’ choice of speakers

Philadelphia’s police union issued a scathing rebuke of Hillary Clinton for including relatives of victims of police shootings at the Democratic National Convention but no relatives of slain police officers.

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 said in a statement that it was “insulted by the exclusion of police widows and family members” as speakers at the convention, from Monday to next Thursday.

“It is sad that to win an election Mrs. Clinton must pander to the interests of people who do not know all the facts, while the men and women they seek to destroy are outside protecting the political institutions of this country,” the statement read. “Mrs. Clinton you should be ashamed of yourself if that is possible.”

Markle, you ran off like a frightened child from my comment about the Florida therapist gunned down while on the job helping a sick patient.

When innocent cops are gunned down, it is a tragedy. But the police organizations and unions are just like you: it's all black and white. The cops are always right and the victims are always guilty and deserved what they got, by "copping an attitude," and not complying, etc. Utter bullshit. In reality, the cops are all too often totally wrong, and appear to enjoy playing judge and executioner. What else can they be when they have slowly been transitioned from serving the public to occupying and controlling selected neighborhoods in what can only be described as a police state?

Markle, you want us to believe the cops are always right, and we all know better. Yeah black and white lives both matter, and as long as the cops are going to continue acting like storm troopers of the gestapo, we're going to get dead cops.

The truth is, the problems that brought about the current insanity are complex and when you track them, the trail leads directly to the 1%.

Perhaps you will recall that apparently, I was WRONG about the Freddie Gray death. I expressed my opinion that the police must have been culpable in his death. Now four of the officers have been declared not guilty in trials. States Attorney Marilyn Mosby has made a royal muck up of the cases.

Just because the cops who murdered Freddie Gray who have been tried thus far have been found not guilty, doesn't mean they were innocent of Gray's death. Get real. The cops who arrested and drove Gray to jail were responsible in every way for his death. Despite the legal manipulations that resulted in not-guilty findings, if Gray had never met these cops on that fateful day, he would still be alive.

And still nothing from you defending the Florida cops who shot the therapist who was treating an autistic patient. Face it my fascist-racist friend, as long as law enforcement officers are ordered to police black urban ghettos in a militarized manner, there is going to be brutality and killings -- on both sides. The orders to the cops come from above. And the uppermost layer of "above" is the 1%. Reality.

I think Mr. Markle may be a brownshirt who may have alternative tastes. He has never talked about a wife or family. Alone in his hate. Probably a great deal of anger has built up over the years.....so he spews his hate here because in the end he is a bit ashamed and insecure and needs those mothers to be less than human.....kinda makes him feel normal. Its not like we have not seen that behavior from other hateful forum members. A little kindness and love goes a long way, but for some it may be pathological.
