WOW! Lame Duck President Obama's statement about Baton Rouge talks about UNIFYING and NOT GUN CONTROL

President Obama met with police from around this nation this past week. Whether that had any influence on the totally different tone of this statement, we'll probably never know.

It is amusing that President Obama spoke of people unifying since he is the most divisive president in modern history.

As you know and demand to deny and ignore, President Obama is the most divisive president in modern history. He started that after only a few months in office and hasn't slowed down since.

Pffft... markle isn't doing anything that causes real harm to anyone here... certainly nothing more than the leftists linking and parroting socialist ideas with links from the nation, kos, slate etc. Y'all need to get a clue. Delicate sensibilities are not a valid reason to silence others... in fact its the cornerstone of a free country. Each of you should examine your motivations carefully... don't be lured by group think that's contrary to even your best interests. Do you really want to live in an autocracy that censors a free exchange of ideas? There are plenty on examples through history... and even govts today. The end game is that eventually your ideas that undermine the powers of the State will be squashed and silenced too... with the same authority you empower by using it against others. See russia... even today arresting journalists and reporters and teachers. Its not a silly political tactic... think it through.

Well, gee, both you and your "seagoat" have now called me cowardly, so I guess I must be.  My friends and family will be so surprised.

To me, "ignoring" someone so divisive and hate-filled makes me complicit in  his continuing to spread his toxins throughout this board -- but I suppose, since I'm a coward anyway, I will once more consider it.

As for using my words and ideas to counter him, Pkr, get real.  Why in the world should I spend my time writing actual, thoughtful posts when all he does is cut and paste?? 

Markle never, ever, ever gives anyone else's thoughts the benefit of any consideration whatsoever, and does his best to simply destroy with more of the same phony info any attempt to counter him.  There's no such thing as reasoned discourse with one so poisoned.  The very best anyone can expect from him is a laughing cartoon.   He utterly wastes his time and everyone else's, always and forever tearing down, never building up, always destructive, never constructive.  

Imagine if everyone in the world were like Markle!

What I will probably never understand (though no one promised me I would) is how ANYONE of any party can be interested in his worthless crap, mostly from highly questionable sources, but mostly how anyone can condone his hateful negativity.  He says otherwise, but his words 95% of the time belie his protests of caring about anyone here.

So sue me for wishing he would go away.

Look, you little pathetic slime...I was in the top of my class...always...and if you see something from me, you will likely see a comment attached to it.  I always take the time to edit when it's necessary for clarity.  I was a banker, a proofreader of annual and quarterly reports, a mortgage loan processor, a quality control superintendent, and a real estate agent.  All of this occurred before I had children and before I finally got my BSBA in 2002...yes, I went back to school at the age of 50, after my oldest graduated from HS, to again excel in business...and because it had been so long, to relearn computer systems.  You have no idea and absolutely no understanding of who I am...and to be perfectly frank, I hope you never have to find out.

Yes we do, after reading her previous post about how she was this and that, top of her class, etc., all I could think of was how similar that comment was to many of 2SO's posts......you know the type - legends in their own minds. There are several on here who will NEVER accept one set of standards.

It would be more useful and informative to have some reasonable conservatives posting here instead of Markle but hey, if it weren't for him (and a few others) we liberals would be in a bubble of data sealed off from conflicting view points.

To me Markle undermines his positions when he calls people names but that just goes in one eye and out the other with him since it is standard procedure for him. He is irritating and makes our eyes roll but he does open a door into the far right thinking or what passes for right wing thinking. It would serve his "cause" better if he could offer more constructive ideas but...
