The Devil in Ted Cruz

I found this article to be very interesting. Cruz shamelessly panders to Evangelicals and professes his own faith publicly. However, actions speak louder than words, and the author of this piece points out Cruz's very evident hypocrisy, from the day he first became a Senator.

Ted Cruz is nothing more than a charlatan and a wolf in sheep's clothing! It is rather unfortunate that he is swaying so many Christians to vote for him.

This is an eye-opening op-ed piece.  It should be required reading for all potential Cruz voters  -- except that most of them likely don't even look at the New York Times.   (Just a guess there.  Ha.)

I enjoy Frank Bruni's writing skill (he uses a scalpel in place of a pen) and this is so well written that even to most ardent devotee of the GOP ideology would recognize his duplicitous behavior and vote accordingly. Great article!
