So Obama, tell us again about "no boots on the ground"..........

"US 'to deploy special force' to Iraq to fight IS"

"The US is to deploy a specialised force to Iraq to build pressure on Islamic State militants, US Defence Secretary Ashton Carter has said.

"In full co-ordination with the government of Iraq, we're deploying a specialised expeditionary targeting force to assist Iraqi and Kurdish Peshmerga forces," Mr Carter said.

The operators would carry out raids, free hostages and capture IS leaders.
They would also conduct "unilateral operations" in Syria, he said."

The United States government will continue to waste it's lives and national treasure on this middle east insanity as long as it can keep borrowing the money to do so.  At some point it's creditors are going to come to their senses and stop loaning it the money. 

And it doesn't matter what the opposition to it is.  Yesterday I was watching "The Five" on Fox News Channel.  And staunchly conservative pundit Greg Guttfield was actually advocating that we deal with Syria the same way we're dealing with North Korea. 
But even a regular voice on Fox News will land on deaf ears in Washington.  And the middle east wars will continue.

It's despicable to send a man into a war zone then saddle him with politically correct restrictions.

Why doesn't he do as he promised and get us out. The answer in politics... pure politics.

That's what happens when you have a narcissistic CinC surrounded by incompetent sycophants. All they want is to give the impression they are doing SOMETHING to impress their low information apologists, er, supporters....

But if the republican nominee gets elected POTUS,   it will be just more of the same.
