We should be sending them INTEL and ammo! Instead, assholes like McCain and Christy want to enact No Fly zones ... as if we didn't have enough war yet ...

C'mon Markle, tell us why we should resent Russia, Iran and Syria fighting ISIS .. tell us the viewpoint of another asshole ...

Once again you and I agree! We've had three Presidents who have insisted on inflicting AmeriKa Inc on World Affairs -- each of them asking their generals at the Pentagon "How can we bully our way with minimal troops on the ground, and minimal casualties?" And virtually every time one of these three presidents has listened, we've failed and failed miserably. Lesson to be learned: Don't elect presidents who are anxious to play the bully for political and MIC profits, and stop asking for the impossible from generals who will say or do ANYTHING to keep their jobs.

We aren't fighting the same people. As a matter of fact, what Putin is doing is the exact opposite of Obama's stated goals in Syria- get rid of Assad and help the free Syrian army we built to get rid of Assad. It figures
You don't get the point and that his Fp here is so weak his ambassador to Syria quit last year.

The American people don't give a rat's ass about getting rid of Assad. ISIS is the enemy. People with your limited, emotional perspective are the reason we can't win in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, etc. The facts are, you've been exploited and your viewpoints are skewed because of either your limited IQ or your PTSD. Get with the program kiddo, ISIS and al Qaeda are America's enemies, not Assad, Putin or the Ayatollah.

Clownshoes, it has been a stated goal of Obama's to take down Assad, you know, after all the red lines that he drew in the sand. The American people are too busy watching American Idol, Empire, The View and other crap to even care that the starting steps to WWIII are being played out as we speak.

WE aren't fighting ISIS, according to the Obama FP in Syria. We are trying to take down Assad and that is the goal. We were trying to build up an army to do so, but Vlad is kicking their ass each day and helping Assad stay in power. How can you be this far behind on current events?

Obama is allowed to do whatever Vlad tells him to do....and it isn't about taking down Assad now that the Russians are in a live war against those who are against him (USA).

Don't you think that Putin killing the same people that we are training up is a bit of a slap in the face? Assad will still be in power in 2017 and Obama will be down the road.

You're truly unbelievable. You piss and moan every day about all of Obama's flaws, then you stand up for his ridiculous, half-assed attempt to take out Assad. Putin is correct in this in every way -- if Assad falls, Syria becomes another Mideast madhouse, like the ones we helped crate in Iraq and Afghanistan. Everyone except true neocon whackos recognizes that we would all be better off with Saddam still in control of Iraq. Our policy towards Syria is, AS USUAL, totally fucked. The guys we've armed frequently fight with ISIS as allies, and sometimes hand over all the equipment we've provided. Truth. If we had any fucking foreign policy brains we'd join Putin, Assad and the Ayatollah in destroying ISIS and all Islamic terrorist organizations now ensconced (look it up dummy) in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, etc. And if that means taking on Saudi Arabia, so be it. You worry far too much about America's image being trashed by Putin. If our government and military leaders could ever get their heads out of their asses, we wouldn't need to pay for unwinnable wars forever. Reality, my PTSD friend.

I would be much more accepting of our foreign interventions if we didn't throw around flippant threats and half assed efforts. I don't think there's ONE we should've been involved in since ww2. I could even accept targeting despots like saddam alone... the message being that if you abuse humanity and invade your neighbors we're going to kill you... let that be the lesson to your next azzhat, religion, ideology.
