Is Donald Trump trying to find a way out of the Campaign?

Most of the motorcycle racing I did over the years were what are called Enduro's. These are timed 75 to 125 mile races through woods, water, deep mud, steep hill climbs, across fields of cut timber and cabbage palms. It is among the most physically demanding sports in the world. Once I attained a top of the line motorcycle designed specifically for Enduro's, there were times near the end of the race when I WISHED my bike would fail so I could quit. I am starting to feel that Donald Trump is at that point.

Something like a controlled burn has gotten out of hand as sometimes happens.

In my opinion, he doesn't want to be president. He got in to make a point, or several, and stir the pot. Now he's there and even his ego didn't expect this to be happening.

Thus, in my opinion, he has made his unforced errors with either a conscious or unconscious desire to get back to his chosen life.

Someone here pointed out after the debate how he looked kind of exhausted.  And at last night's rally he looked even more like that.
His face is flush and he's started to have a little stoop and is leaning on podiums a lot.  It wasn't like that before this.

But I don't believe for a second that he would intentionally (either in his consicous or unconcious mind) sabotage this thing.
That would be so so out of character for Trump that if it were true that would make him have some sort of aberrant psychological problem.   And my degree in draft dodging, er I mean psychology,  just doesn't tell me that.
But of course it never told me much of nothing anyways.  Except how to avoid dying face down in a rice paddy.  And it was worth every penny for that alone.  lol

Good observations. Politics is tough. I mean physically tough. Wait.....wait......wait......wait, and then boom three hours of handshakes and the spotlight is on.......for three minutes, and what event tomorrow.

I think he is in for the long haul, but clearly he looked exhausted. I think he is finding out what all people who run for public office find out.....it may look easy, but it is not. We will see. I find him insincere when talking about not accepting money.....he is hardwired around money, and frankly exhaustion in my mind is a secondary consideration.....digging in his pocket soon is a whole other animal.

Here's some wild speculation.
He started looking a little different in the last few days as we're talking about.
Maybe he is having a bout of exhaustion.

And then last night the bomb was dropped on him.

A week ago Trump was up early enough to do a phone-in interview on either Morning Joe or Fox n Friends every day.  And one day I switched between them and he was on both on that same day.
And I would have the cable news on sporadically after the morning shows,  and there he was being interviewed during the day and again on more than one cable news network.  And damn if he didn't also do interviews on the primetime programming on the same day.
And here's the kicker.  When you listened to him being interviewed,  he was always talking about what was being said about him on other shows.
So not only was he talking constantly on live tv,  during the time he wasn't talking he was listening to the other shows to know what was being said about him.
It's been that way during the whole Trump Show.  The dude has made 100% use of the tv media all along.

Stay with me.  Now all of a sudden he's disappeared and disappeared for more than a day.  Remember,  RIGHT AFTER he would have learned how the media blew up against him over the rally fiasco.  And being such a media hound he would have heard about it immediately.  The same individual who we agree wasn't looking so good.

If he has suffered some sort of collapse,  they sure as hell would want to cover it up.  Because a collapse would be the last thing someone who has built up this image of power and machismo and all that would want his public to know about.

As I said at the start,  it's speculation.

[edit] Oh I forgot something. Before you tell my speculation is fulla shit, don't forget he cancelled out on a rally in South Carolina. That hasn't happened before either.

Damn, this whole Trump reality show craziness has made me crazy with it.
Now I'm starting to sound like a conspiracy theorist. lol

Here's something else that's really odd to me although it has no connection to why Trump has disappeared.
I made mention of this in another thread and no one seems to be at all intrigued by it.
But why hasn't the media gone to that guy at the rally and tried to interview him like they did joe the plumber?   I expected to see that happen by today.
I mean think about.  If you've been watching the coverage,  they're all looking for anything to use against Trump to make this story bigger.
The most logical thing they could do is put this guy on camera to talk which would probably do even more damage to Trump.
And yet,  not only have they not done this,  but during the cable tv news programming I've watched today,  not one of them ever even mentioned this person other to show him at the rally.
I really don't get that. Can anyone help out here and offer an explanation for it that I'm missing?

He is tired. He admitted the same.

I wasn't able to see live tv media after about 4 this afternoon until
I wrote that post. After I finally got freed up, I turned on cable news but by then it was just repeating the earlier programming and nothing was live.
So if something has developed between then and now I don't know about it.
I did pick up on his issuing some kind of a press release and he was blaming it all on the media but that's all I know.
What new developments have I missed since 4 oclock?

I wake up to learn that Trump is supposed to be at a high school homecoming in Iowa tonight at 7 PM. The Trump Show rolls on.  lol

He could have never won the general election for one simple reason.  Anyone who wins has to get a large percentage of the hispanic vote.  With the way our country is now that's mandatory,  obamasucks,  regardless if anybody likes it or not.
The only way Trump could win is if he could somehow manage to deport all the hispanic voters who are already here (including the ones who are already American citizens) BEFORE THE GENERAL ELECTION.  And I realize you and others believe he can accomplish anything like he says he can.  But that would be a tall order even for a wizard like Trump.  lol

Well I just got home from the yard sales and turned on CNN and see Trump has now responded to what happened with a tweet.
He says he's not responsible for what the guy said.  Obamasucks will buy that answer so now we have to see how many other Trump fans will react the same.

Trump is a joke... thanks for playing along. He'll be here all week.

Now we're told he's saying: "it's not my job to defend the President from a derogatory remark.  Besides,  Obama wouldn't defend me if someone made a derogatory remark about me".

The GOP has a real conundrum on its hands with Trump.

It desperately wants his voters and can't win without them, but the establishment doesn't want any attention drawn to what those voters actually believe, because that's just too ugly to tolerate.

You have to wonder when, if ever, the GOP will find the fortitude to disassociate itself from that filth.

We are so intrusive that we worry about the mindset of the voter?  So, does this mean before we can buy a gun, drive a car, or vote, we must have a background check on our ideology?

Before you know it the right to vote will be out of our hands.

All those futuristic movies are beginning to look more like the present.

Trump has been nothing but a plant.  The "liberal" media continues to cater to him as well as Pox News.  Such a game.  Such a sideshow.

We do not have leadership on slate for the upcoming 2016 election - only game show plots and hosts.

No need to be intrusive.

Trump supporters are transparent.

When the mindset is a fervent desire for the return of white privilege through bigotry and intolerance, there is cause for concern.

Trump is no plant.

He's the culmination of a decades old effort by the GOP to shore up their support by fermenting divisions and distrust.

OK, taking your points only leads me to this conclusion: We are stretched so far to the left and so far to the right that the ones in the middle have no representation whatsoever because the extremists are given center stage.

He is a plant with no intention of being President.

Not in an actual election, my confused friend.  Bernie, toting blacks, latinos, women, young people, and the entire middle and lower classes, will send Trump to Snake Charmer's heaven.  On his side, Trump will have the 1/4 to 1/3 of the republican base who are hoping for terminal flatulence or the second coming of Christ, whichever comes first.

Trump will go back to pitching admissions to the freak tent at the Rexburg, Idaho Potato Fair, where there's a woman you can see with three tits, for $1.50.

Yes, this could be the first ad after he wins the Democrat nomination.

EVEN YOU know Bernie Sanders has less than a prayer of getting the nomination. He's enjoying his 15 minutes but he's not a real candidate.
