Democrats are the ones in a panic. Here we are, just over a year from the election and they don't have viable candidate. It's so bad, they're even talking about dragging losers Al "Snake Oil Salesman" Gore or traitor, John Kerry.

Yeah, we have reasons to panic -- Huckaboobi is coming after us, or is it Bobbie Gindoll? Freak-tent Barker Trump? Ben "it's okay when I mess with fetus's" Carson? Jeb! Yawn ... Bush? Carly "who'd vote for THAT face? Fiorina? Ted "I like being around Trump, there are so many cameras! Cruz? Marco "do you have another bottle of water, por favor? Rubio? Or any of the other 4,356 candidates?

Like the leaders of the republican party, the leaders of the democrat party are similarly tied to Wall Street, the MIC, and the 1%. That's why they avoid joining Bernie's accelerating train, now that Hillary's foundering. Bernie represents all the folks who know that Wall Street, the MIC and the biggest corporate bloodsuckers are pure poison. You know, the folks who haven't voted much lately because it never really mattered. For sure, due to the numbers, Bernie will be the democratic candidate for president. And there will certainly be debates between the people's champion, and maybe Trump, or Carson. And there will be blood. I can't wait!! LOL

I'm not quite sure what alternative universe you're living in, but being white is not a liability when running for President.

Maybe you've been sleeping for the past seven years, but the fact remains, Obama was elected President DESPITE being black, not BECAUSE he's black.

Black people voted for him because he was black (if I was black that's why I would have voted for him too).

But a lot of white people voted for him for the reasons I did.

We were introduced to him in the biggest wrastlin show of all when as totally unknown he stole the show away from all those big politicians with the big name recognition.
As I was watching it, I remember saying to myself "damn I really like this guy".
That had imprinted on my brain and it lasted all the way to the voting booth four years later.

The other reason enough white people voted for him was directly caused by George Bush. We were sick of him and his bullshit. And it didn't help matters that Obama's opposition said we didn't mind if the Iraq war lasted another hundred years. That was the last straw. I would have voted for anything challenging that. In other words, in that regard it was a vote against something rather than a vote for something.

My bad. You're right, of course. Actually, considering that Obama continued the foreign and military policy of the man he succeeded, I've always thought his receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize was ludicrous.
As for Obama's leadership resume, it's considerably more impressive from a political perspective, than that of Trump or Carson. Reality
