The senate had a bill which had bipartisan support. The house melted down and now they have a frankenstein which was their creation. It will not be long that the pitchforks are going to be for Dr. Frankenstein......there is no leadership.

I sincerely hope Donald Trump is the GOP's candidate for president in 2016.

If Republicans stab Trump in the back to snatch the nomination away from Donald for their establishment pick, I hope he tells them to fuck-off and runs as a 3rd-party candidate. We would have a lot of fun with that scenario, would we not?

Why?

Donald Trump has brought up issues that both parties would prefer never see the light of day.

He's done that and proposed solutions so folks are being forced to discuss them as well.

Hillary Clinton is so scared, she's wetting her pantsuits. Her and Bill's vacation was supposed to be through the Labor Day weekend. Instead, she's back on the campaign trail.

Other than his immigration "plan", on what issues has he proposed specific solutions?

I said this here yesterday: Both semi-demented poster Markle and poster Obamasucks are already in the Trump camp. It should be fun as ever here on this forum this cycle.

It's not a disaster. It's the antithesis of Bernie Sanders making your party go farther to the left.

It's a disaster staring you straight in the face. If Trump keeps going as he has been doing, you can kiss the election, and your party, goodbye.

Trump is like the Wizard of Oz standing behind a curtain making a lot of noise except in this case he is standing behind a podium. Sure he spoke the words about undocumented workers and immigration reform but even the slightest examination reveals holes and stupidity so big you could drive a truck through them.

What would the cost be to send 11 million people back to where ever they came from? Where would the people go? Would he like to force Mexico and other countries south of the border to build refugee camps for these people, many of whom do not even speak Spanish?  It is not physically possible to do what he says he's in favor of. It is just red meat for unthinking elderly Fox news viewers. So sad for a once thoughtful party.

He wants to build a really huge wall when a great many people who are here illegally came via plane with a visa that has since expired. He is talking nonsense.

Thanks...And now I see on TV this evening that perhaps Trump's strategy re Fox is to make it move even farther to the right, closer to Mark Levin, Ann Coulter, etc. When F news starts looking like it is mainstream you know we have rearranged our politics. The more they move to the right, the better the Democrats will look to independents, minorities, women, the younger voters...2016 looks good for us.

If you think independents, minorities, women, young, illegal aliens, and dead people are going to be motivated...

I don't think you're looking closely at your candidates. They are old white political insiders... biden won't help that.

If only we had some Anchor babies like Cruz & Rubio & Jindal.

It would be beneficial to you if you knew what you were talking about.

Cruz shouldn't even be eligible to run for president, since he was born in Canada. In fact, he held dual Canadian/U.S. citizenship until 2014 (only recently renouncing his Canadian citizenship).

The legitimacy of his candidacy may not meet the smell test....  Suspect

Why would you lie?

You said you would support any Republican candidate over Hillary Clinton. Who is lying as usual?

Please show us all where I said I was in the camp of Donald Trump. Anywhere.  If you cannot, then you are flat out lying.  As usual.

At least Cruz didn't spend part of his youth in a madrassa learning to hate all things American.
