Very cool robotics in that video. Eventually robots will replace all humans in Amazon's warehouses.

The next threat to jobs done by humans will not be offshoring, but robots replacing human laborers. Robots are the next chapter in 'cheap labor'.

When UPS trucks can run on auto pilot, and a robot arm can extend to boxes at a business, you will see some amazing Jetson stuff yet in some of your lifetimes.

You, and the other Progressives DEMAND obscene minimum wages and then sit back in stunned silence, when industry finds a cheaper way.

Well...goolllyyyy....

Automation of factory and warehouse floors has NOTHING to do with the minimum wage.  I set up an MRP system for Borg Warner in the late seventies which involved in design optic reading lift trucks which followed painted lines on the floor......most of the reason for these systems had to do with highly accurate tracking of inventory.  Less human error.  Not minimum wage......golllllleeeeee.

Improved productivity is the name of the game.  Minimum wage increases help drive demand.....an economic concept like inflation you may not be able to conceptualize.

There you have it. The future of mail delivery. Self driving jeeps with a robot arm to deliver the mail to the boxes. Need to go into a multistory building to deliver mail? No problem. A rolling or walking robot will do it. Do not recommend that your grandchildren take the Postal Exam......

We live in exciting times. I wish I could go back to 1969 and tell my family what awaits them. I would not want to live again in the age before the World Wide Web/computers/technology.

Poor Mr. Markle claims to be a real estate professional and professional speaker and did not know what a managing broker was, does not understand the concept of inflation, and now thinks that automation is based on the minimum wage.  Productivity=the effectiveness of productive effort, especially in industry, as measured in terms of the rate of output per unit of input.  All industry tries to increase their rate of output and lower the units of input.  Automation by definition accomplishes this independent of the rate of compensation.  Your lack of understanding of basic economics is only matched by your lack of knowledge in real estate.
