Prison sentences coming soon for criminals in the semi-retired Obama administration.

Federal judge threatens to hold IRS chief in contempt

A federal judge threatened to hold IRS Commissioner John Koskinen in contempt Wednesday after the IRS failed to produce, as ordered, newly recovered emails of former IRS official Lois Lerner.

U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan had ordered the IRS on July 1 to turn over Lerner emails on a weekly basis in response to a lawsuit by the watchdog group Judicial Watch.

You have been saying this for two years.  A junior in high school who has taken a simple civics class understands that if there was criminal behavior there would already be a criminal complaint.  A contempt of court does not get a prison sentence and your continued idiotic posts where you do not understand how government works or how a simple concept like contempt of court works is stunning.  We should have an IQ test before posting in an area you nothing about.  Simply bonechilling tediously stupid.

And you feign the desire for govt accountability... in certain select politically suited instances... lol.

The IRS targeted the home office deduction twenty years ago.  Today somebody would claim this targeting impacted Republicans more than Democrats and that a crime was committed.  A committee would be formed which would stay in existence until the next president was elected......This charade has been going on since the mid nineties.  There is nothing new......prison....how fricking idiotic can this get.  Where is the bottom of stupidity?

Where are the emails and documents legally required to be turned over?

The IRS will turn over documents.  Next question.

You don't give a damn if your select dear leaders are held accountable... drop the pretense comrade.

"The IRS erased backup takes with Lois G. Lerner’s emails even after the messages were subject to a congressional subpoena, but it was an “unbelievable” chain of coincidences rather than a malicious intent to subvert Congress, the tax agency’s inspector general said.

As many as 24,000 emails may have been permanently lost, but the inspector general has managed to recover about 1,000 messages from the tapes because the IRS only “degaussed” the tapes but didn’t destroy them."

It is sad that only one criminal from the George W. Bush administration went to prison--Scooter Libby. There was plenty of material w2ith which to charge many more from that criminal administration.
