No females were able to make it in the
Marine Infantry Officer Course. I could have told them that would be the case. Now if we can just get beyond trying to create GI Janes in the Spec Ops Community, Obama and his political correctness can be shelved permanently.

I am sure President Obama is twisting USMC Commandant General Joseph Dunford's arm real hard to make women into 0302s. Or, perhaps the Corps is just testing the water to see if women can make it in the infantry. I think it is likely more the latter.

BTW, I first met General Dunford when he was a 1stLt back in 1980. He was getting ready to check out of 3/1, just as I was checking in to be the Battalion Air Liaison Officer. Dunford was the right man to be the next Commandant.
