Pace,
Do you believe that if a person who owns a bakery they should deny a gay customer an ordered cake because they do not approve religiously of two gay people being in love?

Red herring. Why is apple vilifying Indiana when it does business with nations who kill gays? Hypocrite

What you fail to consider is that the goals of capitalism are real, and religion isn't.

The one and only objective of capitalism is profit.  The goal of Christianity is power and/or control.

Truly unbelievable. And it appears most libs are okay with the hypocrisy/double standards. Yet again. Nothing new there.

So what. A business owner doesn't want to make your gay wedding cake. Don't do business with them. There is more than one bakery. Hell, open a business that specializes in gay weddings and wedding cakes. There you have it, gay capitalism. LOL

Wordslinger does that when he can't refute a point and is frustrated. That's happening more and more of late. I'm not sure if the cause is that he's getting up in years, is lonely and just want's to prattle or that this administration has turned out so different than he had dreamed that he just lives with anger. My bet is a combination of both.

I really feel sorry for him. No one can be so filled with anger and not have some serious problems. So filled with hate he chose as his signature, the name of Adolph Hitler's personal train. That's pretty strange....

Please, show us where it says that corporations designed solely to reap profits from their businesses are required in any way to be moral or ethical.  Show us a list of corporations that demonstrate any form of concern for justice or ethics.

Fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.  Benito Mussolini

Your article link makes no mention of what's in your thread title. Exactly what do you mean by "APPLE....does business with countries that execute gays"?
Are you talking about Apple selling it's products to customers living in countries which execute gays? Or what exactly?

It's almost as though "separate but equal" is an entirely new concept to these cretins.

As you know, and HATE, is the fact that the vast majority of corporations are both moral and ethical.

My far left Socialist/Communist good friend Wordslinger seems to have backed away from his adoration for Adolph Hitler and is now picking up the banner for Benito Mussolini.

Seriously, who could make this up?

Now the hero of Wordslinger is Benito Mussolini.  Like Adolph Hitler, Mussolini is another fine, upstanding moral and ethical person.

Benito Amilcare Andrea Mussolini (Italian pronunciation: [beˈniˑto̞ ˌmussoˈliːni]; 29 July 1883 – 28 April 1945) was an Italian politician, journalist, and leader of the National Fascist Party, ruling the country as Prime Minister from 1922 until his ousting in 1943. He ruled constitutionally until 1925, when he dropped all pretense of democracy and set up a legal dictatorship. Known as Il Duce ("the leader"), Mussolini was one of the key figures in the creation of fascism.

[...]

On 24 July 1943, soon after the start of the Allied invasion of Italy, the Grand Council of Fascism voted against him, and the King had him arrested the following day. On 12 September 1943, Mussolini was rescued from prison in the Gran Sasso raid by German special forces. In late April 1945, with total defeat looming, Mussolini attempted to escape north, only to be quickly captured and summarily executed near Lake Como by Italian partisans. His body was then taken to Milan where it was hung upside down at a service station for public viewing and to provide confirmation of his demise.

Private discrimination out of the interstate commerce's long arms is your business, but if you discriminate operating a public business within the long arm's of the interstate commerce clause.....it is the government's business.

Religion is a personal belief. It cannot justify discrimination in a public business......this is not that complex for so many to simply not grasp these elementary legal concepts.
